Different drying accelerators were studied to improve vegetable drying: acetone (AC), ethanol (ET), isopropanol (ISO) and acetic acid (AA). Pre-treatments were performed by immersion of pumpkin cylinders. Convective drying was performed at 40 degrees C and air velocity 1 m/s. Different aspects were evaluated: drying kinetics, structural changes (microstructure and macrostructure), thermal profile and viscoelastic and rehydration behaviours. The microstructure was modified by pre-treatments, being more pronounced with AC and AA. Thinner cell walls, changes on turgor and extraction of components and air were reported, affecting the mass transfer. Moreover, the microstructural changes reinforced anisotropy and also affected the macrostructure, changing the viscoelastic behaviour. This study examined the impact of risk management strategies on supplier selection at the Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority (LBRBDA) in Makurdi. It was motivated by the growing importance of effective supplier selection in public procurement and the need to assess how organizations manage procurement-related risks. The research specifically examined the effects of risk avoidance, risk mitigation, and risk transfer on the supplier selection process. A cross-sectional survey design was employed, utilizing a census approach to cover the entire population of 101 staff members. From the questionnaires distributed, 86 were returned, representing an 85.1% response rate, considered statistically reliable. In this study, we investigate changes in the glaciated surface and the formation of lakes in the headwater of the Querococha watershed in Cordillera Blanca (Peru) using 24 Landsat images from 1975 to 2014. Information of glacier retreat was integrated with available climate data, the first survey of recent depositional dynamics in proglacial Yanamarey Lake (4600m a.s.l.), and a relatively short hydrological record (2002-2014) at the outlet of Yanamarey Lake. A statistically significant temperature warming (0.21°C decade-1 for mean annual temperature) has been detected in the region, and it caused a reduction of the glacierized area since 1975 from 3.5 to 1.4km-2. New small lakes formed in the deglaciated areas, increasing the flooded area from1.8ha in 1976 to 2.8ha in 2014. A positive correlation between annual rates of glacier recession and runoff was found. In the first place, the agenda setting function about the Limean newspaper influence over the university students will be studied. This will be done to know the process of transference of issue salience of the media agenda to the public agenda, moreover to how the frecuency of VIH/Sida ítems published by the newspapers influences the students. However, the influence of the media is larger. This study analyses the influence of internal controls on risk reduction and compliance of accounting information. Qualitative research combined with a quantitative analysis of contents was used applied to a case study. Data were collected through interviews with managers and employees of a public transport institution. The relevance of the study lies in the need to mitigate risks that affect the compliance of accounting information within organizations, given the need for quick and secure information for decision making. Duelo es un proyecto muy personal, que brota de las experiencias sobre la pérdida que hemos tenido los integrantes del presente grupo. En él, buscamos hablar sobre la ausencia, la memoria, el dolor, la nostalgia, y la muerte de seres queridos. Debido al tiempo de pandemia de COVID-19, nos hemos visto más cercanos a la muerte y el riesgo constante de pérdida, como una presencia diaria y esperada; esto nos ha llevado a reflexionar sobre pérdidas cercanas y lejanas, y pensar sobre las ausencias que experimentamos en nuestras vidas, así como en la forma en que estas nos están afectando constantemente.
