El sector alimentario en el Perú enfrenta el desafío de modernizar sus operaciones logísticas debido al incremento en la demanda, la necesidad de trazabilidad y el control preciso de inventarios. En este escenario, una empresa dedicada a la industria alimentaria detectó limitaciones en su gestión de almacenes, pues su sistema ERP (Exactus) no permitía un control detallado de los movimientos internos ni la optimización de procesos logísticos. Para resolver esta situación, se adoptó un sistema de gestión de almacenes (WMS), el cual proporciona funcionalidades avanzadas para la administración de entradas, salidas, devoluciones y ajustes de stock. En un recorrido de 187 km que comprendió el litoral de Lambayeque y parte de Piura (11-16 de noviembre 2019), se registró mortandad de 1733 ejemplares. Se identificaron 18 especies, entre pinnípedos (1 sp.), cetáceos (3 sp.), quelonios (2 sp.), y aves marinas (12 sp.). Objetivo. Determinar si la placenta previa es factor de riesgo para presentación podálica en la gestante de edad avanzada. Material y Métodos. Se realizó un estudio de cohortes retrospectivas en el periodo de enero 2012 a diciembre del 2017, utilizando el sistema informativo perinatal (SIP) una gran base de datos; la muestra estuvo conformada por 70 gestantes con placenta previa (cohorte 1) y 70 gestantes sin placenta previa (cohorte 2). Los criterios de exclusión fueron malformación fetal y antecedente de cesárea previa. Se definieron y compararon seis categorías para las características maternas encontradas en las gestantes con placenta previa.
