In a time of rapid global change, the question of what determines patterns in species abundance distribution remains a priority for understanding the complex dynamics of ecosystems. The constrained maximization of information entropy provides a framework for the understanding of such complex systems dynamics by a quantitative analysis of important constraints via predictions using least biased probability distributions. We apply it to over two thousand hectares of Amazonian tree inventories across seven forest types and thirteen functional traits, representing major global axes of plant strategies. Results show that constraints formed by regional relative abundances of genera explain eight times more of local relative abundances than constraints based on directional selection for specific functional traits, although the latter does show clear signals of environmental dependency. Background: Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is heritable and a potential consequence of exposure to traumatic stress. Evidence suggests that a quantitative approach to PTSD phenotype measurement and incorporation of lifetime trauma exposure (LTE) information could enhance the discovery power of PTSD genome-wide association studies (GWASs). Methods: A GWAS on PTSD symptoms was performed in 51 cohorts followed by a fixed-effects meta-analysis (N = 182,199 European ancestry participants). A GWAS of LTE burden was performed in the UK Biobank cohort (N = 132,988). Genetic correlations were evaluated with linkage disequilibrium score regression. El envejecimiento es un proceso natural que involucra todos los sistemas del cuerpo humano, limitando el desarrollo eficaz de las actividades de la vida diaria y una de ellas es la marcha, que nos permite desplazarnos de un lugar a otro. Según van pasando los años los factores predisponentes a conllevar a una alteración en el adulto mayor aumentan así como la población afectada, es por ello que opte enfocarme netamente en el análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de la marcha humana. Los adultos mayores disminuyen su capacidad locomotora, iniciando de esta forma un progresivo deterioro del estado funcional físico, psíquico y social.

In Mexico, a high percentage of young people experience symptoms of generalized anxiety, which are associated with difficulties in executive functions (EF). However, previous studies have shown inconsistent results, as they often rely solely on either objective or subjective measures. Therefore, this study focused on analyzing the relationship between generalized anxiety and EF using both a neuropsychological battery and a self-report questionnaire, in order to provide a more comprehensive understanding of cognitive functioning in adolescents. El Perú es un país con alta actividad sísmica debido a que se encuentran próximo a los límites de las placas de Nazca y Sudamericana. Por otro lado, en el Perú actualmente existen 54,800 colegios, de los cuales, el 76% requiere reforzamiento estructural o demolición y 21,100 colegios se encuentran en riego extremo. Asu vez, los centros educativos cumplen la función estructural de servir como lugares seguros ante un evento sísmico. Por esa condición, es importante analizar si los módulos o pabellones escolares cumplan con la condición mínima estructural según la normativa vigente. The purpose of this research was to determine the loss of function of the stomatognathic system in relation to the chewing capacity and aesthetic factor in students from 7 to 10 years old at the Independencia School - Puno 2022. Method, it is basic in scope, explanatory, quantitative, non-specific design. experimental, transversal. 186 children aged 7 to 10 years participated, whose oral cavity was examined in order to determine the number of lost teeth. Descriptive statistics and inference were used to corroborate the hypothesis. The results from the statistical results and analysis of data obtained determine the loss of function of the stomatognathic apparatus in 16.54%, in relation to the chewing capacity and the aesthetic factor. This may be due to the lack of axiological awareness from some researchers, thesis experts, advisors and expert judges who have the moral obligation to validate the instrument through its items. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general identificar los motivos del fracaso matrimonial según la percepción de los padres de familia de una Institución Educativa en Ferreñafe, en 2024. El enfoque fue cuantitativo y el diseño Descriptivo-Explicativo, orientado a analizar las causas del fracaso matrimonial. Se trató de una investigación básica, no experimental, sin manipulación de variables. La muestra consistió en 120 padres de estudiantes de tercer año de secundaria, y los datos se recolectaron mediante encuestas y se analizaron a través del SPSS, V26. Los resultados revelaron que el 52.5% de los padres atribuyen las rupturas a la falta de funcionalidad en la convivencia, mientras que el 51.7% considera que un cambio en la pareja es suficiente para separarse. Purpose: The aim of this article is to establish a theoretical-methodological proposal to study discursive interactivity from a multidisciplinary perspective different from the traditional structural and quantitative media research. The sociological definition of interaction and the basis of discourse analysis –as a theoretical discipline and scientific method– are assumed to propose a concept of interactivity that addresses the double materiality of the term: as a structure and a process. A long time ago, dental pulp-complex regeneration was our main objective in radicular reparation which could guarantee all appropiate growth of healthy and functional tissue. The present study is about a histological assay of a new dentinal-pulp complex formation using platelet rich plasm, pulpar tissue and fibrina, all autolougus, as components of dental pulp tissular engineering treatment. Qualitative and quantitative assays about the dentin pulp-complex regeneration grade on experimental and control groups were made and showed similar results. This technique opens a pathway for regenerate a complete tooth in the future.
