The first one is to study whether the different stages of teacher professional development vary the levels of psychological capital, engagement and burnout on university teachers. The present study had as objetives to identify the presence of phenolic compounds, as well as to evaluate and compare the in vitro antioxidant activity of the ethereal, dichloromethane and ethanolic extracts obtained from the algae Polysiphonia paniculata Montagne, using the DPPH method (1,1-diphenyl-β -picrilhydrazyl), radical scavening method. Several species of the genus Polysiphonia, from the family Rhodomelaceae, have been reported to present bromophenolic compounds with antioxidant activity. Phytochemical screening results revealed the presence of phenolic compounds according to the thin layer chromatographic profile and the IR spectrum in ethereal (very slightly) and dichloromethane extracts. El presente estudio tuvo como objetivos identificar la presencia de compuestos bromofenólicos, así como evaluar y comparar la actividad antioxidante in vitro de los extractos etéreo, diclorometánico y etanólico obtenidos del alga Polysiphonia paniculata Montagne, mediante el método DPPH (1,1-difenil-β-picrilhidrazilo), método de captura de radicales. The stage was set in the streets and the concept of art-life was about to manifest itself. Motivated to generate a device that expresses the politics of those who had abandoned their place of contemplation, questioned as individuals and mobilized as a collective, we decided to do an intervention with a performative aesthetic. This essay presents that feedback process between social and artistic performance, a reflection of the expressive and ungovernable limits of the green wave, and answers the call for a deep need to meet each other, taking over the public space, in a symbolic ex-pression of those of us who became protagonists in the construction of our rights. Esta guía presenta alternativas tecnológicas de acceso a agua que no dependen de una red convencional y que son de fácil instalación y mantenimiento. La propuesta es el resultado de un trabajo colaborativo que incluyó talleres de identificación, sensibilización, capacitación y validación de información con la población, universidades y municipalidades locales, hacia el desarrollo de tecnologías de bajo costo para potenciar el uso sostenible del agua. El resultado final es el diseño, desarrollo e implementación de un modelo de captación, almacenamiento y tratamiento (CAT) de agua pluvial con el objetivo de promover actividades domésticas y comunitarias. Se espera que la tecnología pueda ser replicada en otras localidades de la Amazonía a través del fortalecimiento de capacidades a técnicos locales.

CASA [Ciudades Auto-Sostenibles Amazónicas] tiene como objetivo generar investigaciones académicas con soluciones prácticas, involucrando directamente a agentes cruciales en la transformación y desarrollo de nuevas ciudades como son las instituciones públicas y los propios ciudadanos. Los resultados que se obtengan de esta investigación, los cuales incluyen el diseño, implementación y monitoreo participativos de prototipos y tecnologías constructivas y de energías renovables en el nuevo centro urbano, serán difundidos y compartidos a través de talleres de capacitación y sensibilización con la población e instituciones públicas y académicas. Una guía para la arquitectura y el diseño urbano para los asentamientos en el bosque amazónico, incluyendo los procesos sociales a ser considerados. La guía puede ser replicada en otras áreas ambientales, culturales y sociales.

CASA está a cargo del Centro de Investigación de la Arquitectura y la Ciudad (CIAC) y el Instituto de Ciencias de la Naturaleza, Territorio y Energías Renovables (INTE) de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) y The Bartlett Development Planning Unit (DPU) de University College London (UCL). CASA se desarrolla en Iquitos, Perú y es parte de la Iniciativa Ciudades Resilientes al Clima a cargo de Fundación Futuro Latinoamericano (FFLA), Alianza Clima y Desarrollo – CDKN LAC y IDRC / CRDI.

This paper presents a design for a district of the city of Iquitos, developed based on research by the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and supported by the Centro Interuniveristario de Desarollo Academico exchange programme. The case study’s interest is in the conditions of environmental stress to which the district is subject due to seasonal variations in the water level of the river that runs through it. Under these circumstances, the inhabitants have spontaneously developed resilient settlement strategies which, however, are not sufficient to deal with the serious health and sanitary problems that exist there. The paper demonstrates how, in such situations, it is possible to propose adaptive design solutions which are in keeping with local practices and therefore easily reproducible.

El número de refugiados climáticos en el mundo irá en aumento en las siguientes décadas debido a los efectos del cambio climático. Por ello, los reasentamientos poblacionales serán necesarios con mayor frecuencia, siendo urgente revisar la metodología empleada para su diseño, implementación y monitoreo para promover su sostenibilidad ambiental, social, económica y política. Se presentan en este documento cuatro factores clave (más no exclusivos) a ser tomados en cuenta en los procesos de reasentamiento. The tin-rich polymetallic epithermal deposit of Poopó, of plausible Late Miocene age, is part of the Bolivian Tin Belt. As an epithermal low sulfidation mineralisation, it represents a typological end-member within the “family” of Bolivian tin deposits. The emplacement of the mineralisation was controlled by the regional fault zone that constitutes the geological border between the Bolivian Altiplano and the Eastern Andes Cordillera. In January 2019 there was a partial collapse of the «E» wing of the first body of funerary niches of the Central Cemetery of Montevideo, affecting 64 niches containing burials from the mid-nineteenth century to the present. The archaeological rescue work of the collapsed sector resulted in the recovery of intact or slightly altered funerary structures and in the extraction of displaced or isolated remains that were analyzed separately and are the object of this work. The remains were studied in order to determine the number of individuals, sex and age structure, and the effect of the collapse and the recovery methodology on the representation of bone elements.
