This article addresses the relationship between the Process and the Constitution. For this purpose, it is explained what is the object of study of the Procedural Law, and which is the litigation model adopted in article 139 of the Peruvian Constitution, why this model is about a system with its own autonomy and substantivity and not about a subsystem, and how Civil Law and Common Law converging in this model. Furthermore, the author establishes, based on the Constitution, the reason why the existing procedural guarantees in our legal system do not imply a “right to a right decision”, but only the right to a fair process, and explains the difference between “fair process” and “justice” or “judicial truth”.

Objective: To validate an explanatory model of cognitive functioning in older adults, based on inhibitory control, working memory and processing speed. Method: Explanatory-correlational design. 128 people between 60 and 85 years of age were evaluated with working memory and processing speed tests of the WAIS-IV intelligence scale, Stroop Test and Neuropsi. Results: Two models of structural equation analysis were applied. In model 1, with the total sample, inhibitory control better explains the cognitive functioning in adults aged 60 to 85 years (β=0.22; p<0.538). Model 2, which included age as a control variable, divided the sample into two age groups, and found that processing speed best predicted cognitive functioning in adults aged 60-70 years (β=2.329; p=0.030). but no variable predicted cognitive functioning in adults aged 71 to 85 years. The second model showed better fitting ...

The population dynamics of organisms are strongly influenced by life-history strategies that result from the optimal allocation of energy to vital functions such as growth, reproduction, and survival. These strategies, characterized by phenotypic traits, emerge as evolutionary adaptations to specific ecological conditions and define functional trade-offs relevant facing biotic and abiotic pressures. The aim of this study is to examine the link between life history and population dynamics from a bioenergetic perspective, articulating individual and population-level processes through mathematical models that capture adaptive decisions in simulated environments described in terms of constant, decreasing, and periodic resource availability over time. Using a discrete-time mathematical model with two state variables, internal energy and survival probability, energy allocation toward reproduct...

The literature pays little attention to non-linear models, especially regarding dimensions such as organizational culture. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to test the role of hierarchical distance in the relationship between HRM practices and social processes. With a sample of 102 Spanish firms and using partial least squares structural equation modeling assessed this relationship. Results suggested mediation of hierarchical distance between HRM practices and social processes. Such results recommend that HR managers should consider hierarchical distance more carefully especially when creating HRM practices to improve relationships among employees. Thus, the politics of commitment function better when organizations are more horizontal and when tasks are commonly delegated, managers question employees frequently prior to making decisions, discussions are encouraged, and social rela...

The relationship between executive functions (EF), creative personality, and academic performance in Argentine university students was examined. A total of 248 students (M = 22.97 years, SD = 4.43) from various Argentine provinces participated. The Adult Executive Functioning Inventory (ADEXI), the Cognitive Flexibility Scale, the Creative Behavior Scale (ECC), and the Creative Personality Scale (EPC) were used, along with academic performance data and sociodemographic information. Data were collected online through Google Forms and analyzed using Spearman correlations and mediation analysis with robust Maximum Likelihood estimator and Bootstrap. Cognitive flexibility exhibited the most robust correlation with grade point average (r = .281, p < .001), followed by working memory difficulties (r = -.234, p < .001). Creative personality correlated positively with grade point average (...

Edge detection is a digital image processing tool. It determines points in a digital image where light intensity suddenly changes. This process applies to a digital image which assumes some degree of uncertainty in the location and intensity of the pixel in the real image. In this work, we propose an edge detection model which consists in capturing this uncertainty in terms of interval images. Then we apply interval-valued fuzzy morphology to calculate the interval-valued erosion and dilation. Finally, we compute the convex combinations of the upper and lower bounds of the interval-valued erosion and dilation image, to obtain a morphological erosion and dilation respectively, and thus an edge image.

Computed tomography (CT) is a breakthrough technology used in medicine for diagnostic diseases. The same technique is used in other areas, such as aerospace chemistry, Radio astronomy, etc. The main objective of the CT is to reconstruct the internal part of an object without having to open it as a non-destructive test. To achieve this purpose, the CT uses the attention that X-rays undergo through this object with the information, the inner part of the object is reconstructed, that is to say the CT is an inverse problem. In this article uses the Fourier transform for the reconstruction of the internal part, for it is directly part of a continuous model, representing the density at the point (x, y) of a section, with a function p = p(x, y); and even though p is not required to be continuous, the Fourier method is more efficient and a better, more regular result is obtained p.

Mathematical modelling applied to batch milling (at experimental level), is a very important tool to simulate and predict the granulometric yield of a given treated ore; this means, for a given duration of milling operation, to obtain an estimate of the corresponding granulometric analysis, which can then be tested with real data later on, to verify the estimates. The model involves the selection and fracture functions depending on each mesh size in the ore distribution. This will allow the prediction of effective and reliable results, saving costs and more importantly, time, without the need to perform the milling process for each prediction of batch milling.

The change in the justice model is a reality. This change is totally determined by the emergence of new disruptive technologies and, mainly, by the possible integration of artificial intelligence solutions in the judicial process in functions of assistance to the judiciary. We are probably facing a new justice: hybrid justice. A procedural justice in which, from the non-negotiable supervision by a human (judge), technological applications will have an increasing role in the procedural activity, with the demands of legality and respect for fundamental rights as axes that enable their use with all the guarantees.

This study describes the axiological model of the technological package as a pre-patentable foundation of innovation, designed to articulate the value dimensions underpinning validation, transfer, and potential impact on preventive health. A descriptive, non-experimental study with a qualitative–analytical approach was conducted through structured documentary review and hermeneutic content analysis. The results present a systemic model that integrates ethical, technical, and social principles, structuring the innovation process from need identification to product commercialization and maintenance. This framework demonstrates that axiological coherence provides the technical robustness, sustainability, and social relevance required for responsible biotechnological innovation. The study concludes that the axiological foundation enables the transformation of scientific knowledge into pre-...
