The purpose of this study was to understand how reflection on practice contributes to the teacher training of Chilean university professors. The research was a qualitative type based on the narrative method, and the technique applied was the semi-structured interview. 30 professors from two universities in Chile were interviewed. The main results lead to clarify that the reflection on the teaching practice represents a favorable route for the teacher's training. In particular, three critical aspects that from the voice of the participants contribute to teacher training are recognized: reflections on teaching practice; reflection from dialogue with peers and experts; and reflection on the practice that emerges from the interaction with the students themselves. This article is a reflection in three planes: the first one, how teachers problematize their own practices given the complexity of the scenarios that they must face daily in classrooms; the second one, how teaching problematization is perceived in the academic and school world and the third one, hoy many and how contents, methodological tools and training forms, which are necessary to strengthen teachers’ abilities and attitudes prone to problematization, have been assumed by continuous teaching training programs. It is concluded with a joint reflection that tries to establish the link between these planes.

The research aimed to understand how students, future teachers in the Teaching and Bachelor's programs in Early Education, perceived themselves in relation to digital agency, i.e., the ability to adapt to a digital world, after participating in an educational experience mediated by the use of Empowerment and Participation Technologies, specifically quick response codes. In recent decades, the reflection on the teaching practices has been considered as an important means among the teacher trainers. Nevertheless, chilean research note that the universities of this country have not achieved that students of Teaching Programs may develop reflections on their pedagogical procedures systematically. The systematization of a relevant experience such as the training of 21 in-service teachers with the use of an action-research component was aimed at documenting and writing what happened, as well as explaining the results achieved as a result of the intervention. The aim was to interpret the experience critically, to learn from it and improve future practice. The study used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results suggest that the component favored teachers to question their own beliefs about teaching and strengthen their abilities to make teaching problematic. They also suggest that these changes occur in training events that include spaces for reflection and discussion about beliefs and practices.

The aim of this study was to explore the praxis in training of Community Psychology and identify the characteristics of the role and ethical work. This was done by analyzing the syllabi of Community Psychology courses in Psychology programs in Peru that include those courses in their plan of studies. The study seeks to analyze the extent of supervision of practical work that is included as a substantial part of the training. The results show that 16 of the 20 syllabi of the courses offered by the analyzed universities included theoretical and practical training, but that only one course explicitly offers a space for accompaniment, supervision and / or monitoring. In addition, there is only reflection on one’s attitude toward the role and community involvement, and not critical reflection. Thus, the ethical and political dimension of training in Community Psychology is absent.

This study examines training practices in Bogotá’s hotel sector, focusing on developing technical and interpersonal competencies and adapting them to sustainable practices and technologies. Through interviews and proposal analysis, areas for improvement are identified, such as implementing continuous feedback and recognition systems to motivate and retain staff. Key findings highlight the importance of interpersonal skills in optimising the guest experience and training in sustainability and digital tools management. The article proposes establishing an internal training school for continuous, specialised development and suggests partnerships with educational institutions to strengthen training programs, improve service quality, and meet modern customer expectations. These strategies would contribute to greater competitiveness and sustainability in Colombia’s hotel sector.

This review compiles the information related to implementing research hotbeds as formative research strategies regarding higher university education. A systematic review-type study was designed. Methodologically, the databases Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO, Redalyc, MEDLINE (PubMed), ERIC and academic Google were investigated, using the terms: "Research hotbeds", "programs", "research skills" and "undergraduate student". Of the 235 sources initially searched, 22 references were analyzed (17 original articles and 5 theses). Fetal medicine should be conceptualized as one that not only offers diagnosis and treatment for fetal pathologies but also prevents diseases and assures normality employing technology of universal use and demonstrated efficacy. Benefit of antenatal diagnosis in detection of serious fetal problems is no doubt clear. Correct management of each case with current knowledge will remarkably improve results in a wide range of fetal pathologies. It is necessary to make diffusion of this subspecialty so that people may have opportunity in improving fetal health. A change in health lineaments is needed incorporating national prenatal screening programs that will help diffusion and training of professionals for public health service and private practice.

The way in which individuals and groups explain poverty shapes how they relate to it. This paper inquires the beliefs of university students about the causes of poverty and analyses the relation of these beliefs with their professional training area. An assessment instrument that considers three type of attributions -individualist, socio-structural and fatalistic-, was administered to a sample of 448 advanced university students belonging to nine social sciences programs, aged between 19 and 42 years (M = 22.92; SD = 3.12). The results obtained indicate important variations in the explanations about poverty according to the professional training area.
