The objective of the study was to determine the frecuency of congenital and developmental oral alterations in infants aged 0 to 12 months, of Instituto Nacional de Salud del Niño since July to December 2008. Methodology: prior informed consent of the parents, stomatological examination in 109 infants, 56 male and 53 female, was performed. Instrumental was used in clinical examinations, artificial light source of dental unit and a data collection sheet. Results and conclusions: 72,5% of the totality examined infant, showed congenital and developmental oral alterations. The prevalent ones were the Böhn’s nodules with 40,3%, the persistent upper labial frenulum with 30,2% and the Epstein’s pearls with 29,3% of cases. Obtaining a more anatomical form of the root canal and reducing the space of the cement, it would help to reduce the possibility of its eviction. This article details the process of making of an anatomical preformed post and the advantages that would represent its clinical use.

Introducción. El presente artículo resume la guía de práctica clínica (GPC) para el tamizaje de cáncer de mama en el primer nivel de atención. Objetivo. Brindar a los profesionales de salud recomendaciones informadas en la evidencia para la toma de decisiones en tamizaje de cáncer de mama en mujeres que acuden a los establecimientos de salud del primer nivel de atención. Objetivo: Determinar el porcentaje de expendio de antibióticos sin receta médica en boticas y farmacias del distrito de San Martin de Porres -2020. La investigación fue descriptiva, comparativa y de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo constituida por 70 establecimientos Farmacéuticos, donde el 85.71 % fueron boticas y el 14.29 % fueron farmacias. Método: Se utilizó como instrumento una ficha de recolección de datos, que fue validado por un juicio de expertos. Se realizó la técnica de cliente simulado, haciendo uso de un caso clínico ficticio con el fin de garantizar una adecuada toma de información, la cual fue procesada utilizando el software SPSS v.25. Resultados: Entre los antibióticos expendidos se identificó con el mayor porcentaje a la azitromicina con un 71.43 %, y la ceftriaxona con 1.43 %; así mismo se encontró que el 87.1 % de las boticas y el 10.9% de farmacias...

Este trabajo describe la distribución actual de la liebre europea, Lepus europaeus, en el Perú, la que actualmente abarca la puna, valles andinos, alrededores del lago Titicaca e irrigaciones costeras; en los departamentos de Arequipa, Cusco, Moquegua, Puno y Tacna. En base a su distribución actual desarrollamos modelos de distribución potencial de esta especie, los que pronostican que esta especie llegaría al norte del Perú. Hacemos recomendaciones sobre los principales aspectos que debieran ser estudiados en el Perú sobre L. europaeus y las posibles consecuencias de su proceso invasivo en el territorio peruano.

The aim of the present study was to examine the relationship between students’ cognitive and self-regulatory strategies, academic engagement, and academic achievement in higher education, analyzing the mediating role of reading comprehension. Different tasks to assess the constructs were administered to 209 students (Mage = 21.71; SD = 4.36). The students' GPA was used as a measure of academic achievement. Significant associations were found between cognitive and self-regulation strategies, academic engagement, reading comprehension, and students' GPA. In addition, a positive association was found between cognitive and self-regulation strategies and academic engagement.
