Regardless of the difficult scenario facing the Paris Agreement with the recent withdrawal of the US, Peru will continue to comply with its international obligations and consolidating its national policies and frameworks related to climate change. Although Peru entered the international negotiation process late – basically from COP 20 onwards- it has had a decisive participation and influence in its outcome, the Paris Accord. Pero has for over a decade, been developing a robust internal architecture of norms and institutions, to launch the country towards a greener economy. With the difficulties that this means for a developing country like Peru, the future leads inevitably to the search of clean and environmentally friendly and sustainable economies.

Floristic composition and rangeland condition of the Phynaya Peasant Community (located North of Pitumarca district and EastNorth of Canchis Province, Cusco region) were evaluated to estimate stocking rate under climate change scenario. Floristic composition, vegetation cover, and plant vigor were evaluated on 79 step-transects of 200 m in six rangeland sectors. Preliminary results reveal that there are 60 species, grouped in 13 families, where the dominant families were Poaceae (46.67%), Asteraceas (15%) and seudograsses (13.3%), of which, 45% were palatable for alpacas. Of the total grazing areas, alpacas´ areas represent 70.4%, llamas 15.4%, cattle 3.5%, sheep 4.5% y vicunas 6.3%. Actual stocking was 1 alpaca unit per hectare while stocking rate average estimated was fair with supportability of 0.78 UAl/ha; thus, rangelands are considered on degradation process

In the age of the Internet, anonymous online users can form a societal reaction by posting large quantities of critique and insulting comments against (perceived) norm violations on social media. These so-called online firestorms, or Enjō in Japanese, tend to include aggressive behavior against the target. This research aims to reveal the dynamics of Enjō and explores how people communicate with each other in the formation process of Enjō by conducting a comparative case study. This study collects tweets posted in five Enjō cases and compares each case to create conceptual categories of the communication process of Enjō. Results show that the participants of Enjō interact with each other to define the problem of concern through exchange of information. Moreover, it is revealed that there are two types of process in the escalation of Enjō, “social problematization” and “villa...

Disruptive technologies and their impact on journalism and communication force us to assume challenges in learning new techniques for data and information processing. Interdisciplinary knowledge is evident in the teaching of new professional profiles. Data journalism is an example of this, so the immersion into a data culture must be preceded by awareness in the learning of news applications, algorithms or the treatment of Big Data, elements that configure new paradigms among journalists of the media on the Internet. With the revision of texts, direct observation of selected applications and case study, some conclusions are established that contain a growing demand in the knowledge of new techniques. The results show the use of technological resources and the proposal of changes in the curricula of the communication faculties.

Despite the relevance of personalization in research in Political Communication, as well as other fields of study, there is a state of confusion in the literature on the concept. The main reason is that there is no consensus around a widely shared definition. In addition, the personalization of politics can be approached from different perspectives, corresponding to the main actors involved in the political processes, that is, the media system, the political system and the citizens. Consequently, the results and conclusions are varied and, even occasionally, disparate. Therefore, this lack of conceptual clarity represents a limitation for progressing in the study of personalization. Hence the aim of this research is to propose a definition serving as a reference for further studies on this phenomenon.

Global climate changes have a significant impact on the fragile ecosystems of Antarctica. These processes involve significant changes since the last glaciations, one product being exposure of areas with fracturing and weathering of rocks in Antarctica. The melting exposed surfaces of rocks, causing its disintegration due to physical or chemical and even organic processes; this decay involves the decomposition of minerals that are susceptible to these changes and tend to form new compounds. Undergoing environmental disturbances because of human disturbance, Antarctica is a suitable place to conduct a study on the geochemical characteristics of all elements present in the soil, which are closely related to the composition of the original rock. The preliminary reconnaissance and mapping of geological units were defined by Birkenmajer (1980) and subsequent work. Kraus et al., (2010) define re...

El propósito de este trabajo es recopilar y contrastar investigaciones sobre la continuidad de las empresas familiares y el grado de importancia de la profesionalización y sucesión familiar de la gestión en sus cambios generacionales. It is also part of the IDB project PE-G1001/PE-T1297 (Adaptation to Climate Change of the Fishery Sector and Marine-Coastal Ecosystem of Peru), and it is a contribution to the cooperative agreement between the Instituto del Mar del Perú (IMARPE) and the Institut de Recherche pour le Developpement (IRD), the LMI DISCOH and JEAI EMACEP. The simulations were performed on the supercomputer Curie from the GENCI at the CEA (projects x2014011140, x2015011140 and x2016011140). Francois Pinsard and Sebastien Masson are acknowledged for their help in the making of lateral boundary forcing for the regional atmospheric model. The adoption of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in education has changed the ways of communicating and building knowledge and produced new teaching and learning environments in recent years, but although they have been an indispensable component of curricular innovation, they have not had the expected impact on improving education. In this sense, the purpose of the research reported was to investigate the representations and meanings that teachers who participate in processes of teaching and learning psychology hold about ICTs and the experience they have in using them in their teaching practice. A descriptive and interpretative type of research was carried out based on a qualitative methodology, in which a semi-structured interview was applied to teachers who teach psychology contents in higher education institutions, both public and private, in the metropolitan area o...
