The daily electric demand in Peruvian National Interconnected System-SEIN- has very particular trend, seasonality and characteristics external effects, a situation that complicates the process of estimating the short-term forecast. The aim of this paper is to formulate and calculate ARIMA models with External Events Analysis to achieve efficient forecasts of electricity demand each day, at total level and broken down by areas of the SEIN. The article analyzes the urban leasing policy in contemporary Peru and seeks to explain the origin and permanence of contractual interventionism in urban leasing until the 21st century. In this article, we propose to analyze how healthcare personnel involved in organ and tissue procurement activities use black humor during their daily work. The objective here is twofold: on the one hand, following previous studies, we are interested in showing the role of black humor as a way of dealing with death. On the other hand, we suggest that, in a parallel and complementary way, in this context black humor exposes a performative sense as a form of agency that attempts to modify an adverse reality. This work combines the methodological tools provided by ethnography and conducting open, multi-session interviews. The events revealed during the fieldwork and interviews that associate humor and brain death show the uses, limits and ways in which black humor operates in daily healthcare work of physical and emotional complexity.

This work illustrates the extent to which the work of Ricardo Palma, set in Ica, has been developing, over the course of time, the iqueñidad as a feeling and passion for the terroir. It is established how this identity process that begins in the first decades of the 20th century, parallel to the forging of Peruvianness, the supreme objective of Palma, achieves the birth and strengthening of the iqueñidad, which in the current time is expressed in a formidable explosion of elements that allow to verify that the cultural management, the artistic creation, the educational management, and others have associated themselves with the urgent need to strengthen Ica’s cultural identity.

El presente trabajo ilustra en qué medida la obra palmista, ambientada en Ica, ha venido gestando, con el transcurso del tiempo, la iqueñidad como sentimiento y pasión por el terruño. Se establece cómo este proceso identitario que se inicia en las primeras décadas del siglo XX, paralelamente a la forja de la peruanidad, objetivo supremo de Palma, logra el nacimiento y fortalecimiento de la iqueñidad, que en la hora actual se expresa en una eclosión formidable de elementos que permiten verificar que la gestión cultural, que la creación artística, que la gestión educativa, etc. se han asociado al impostergable fortalecimiento de la identidad cultural iqueña.

In the transition from a Fordist to a post-Fordist society, the constructive task of the semiotic production of the brand has tilted the functional-brand towards the emotional-brand. For this to occur, as a prerequisite prior to its commodification, a process of rationalization of the emotions described by Illouz has taken place, running parallel to those described by Weber in the sphere of organization of work, and by Adorno in the culture industry. This is exemplified by analyzing the commodification of leisure and tourism through the commercialisation of places.

In order to counsel clients, provide methods, and make clinical references INPPARES' community promoters of contraceptives must know family planning technology. This article describes the construction of the Family Planning Knowledge Test for Promotors through a process which assured the test content validity, intemal consistency of scores, and parallel-test reliability. The test is presented in two equivalent versions, A and B, with 80 multiplechoice items esch. It generales separate scores for four thematic areas: Oral Contraceptives, Barrier Methods, Reproductive System, and Institucional Policy/Intrauterine Devices; additionally, it produces several composite scores and a total score. The test psychometric properties, research applications, and practical use are discussed.

This paper evaluates the role that the external sector plays in the US and Mexican economic structures in the perspective of the integration process as found about the time the North American Free Trade Agreement was signed. Thus the paper pursues finding indicators for the integration levels between these two economies in the 1990's. The method of analysis relies upon the Input-Output model. Results suggest that those economies maintain an asymmetric relationship concerning the nature of their bilateral trade, e.g., the weight of that exchange in the total foreign trade is quite different. Nevertheless, these economies show striking structural similarities, which explain the parallel role that trade plays in each country, despite the obvious differences in the importance of the external sector in each economic structure.

El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el efecto de la merma en el costo de producción de las planchas de caucho de la empresa RR&PF OLIVARES S.A.C en un periodo correspondiente a octubre y noviembre. Asimismo, se identificó el punto de inspección donde se genera la merma y en base a ello, se buscó determinar el valor correcto de las mermas.
