This research aims to compare some variables with students enrolled in a Higher Education Institution (IES) pursuing distance-virtual undergraduate programs. The sample included students from the Faculty of Distance Studies (FAEDIS) at the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada (UMNG). A parallel was drawn between the 2015-II and 2024-I periods, comparing economic, demographic, and institutional aspects. A descriptive methodology was used, using a survey instrument that corresponded to a sample of 15.2% of the enrolled student body. The above shows that a significant proportion of the students who responded were between 22 and 35 years old, indicating a young adult population. However, the 17-21 age group showed a significant increase. Introduction: Overweight negatively impacts the cardiovascular system and osteomyoarticular, promoting pain in the joints of the lower limbs. Therefore, strategies have been applied to reduce overweight through lifestyle changes. Objective: to investigate the effects of two multidisciplinary intervention programs on the health-related physical fitness of obese women with pain symptoms in the knees. Methods: Women between 40 and 59 years of age with obesity (n=59) were evaluated in the pre- and post-intervention time regarding anthropometry, body composition, physical fitness, level of disability in the knee and hip, and health-related quality of life. The work analyzes the contributions of Mercedes Rodrigo Bellido and Victoria Bossio Herrera, pioneers of psychology in Colombia, highlighting their impact from complementary approaches. Rodrigo, born in Spain, introduced psychotechnics and founded the first university psychology program in the country, consolidating the discipline as autonomous and applied to vocational guidance and child well-being. Bossio, Colombian and the country's first doctor in psychology, focused her work on psychopedagogy, promoting education for children with high abilities and learning difficulties, in addition to addressing problems such as child abandonment. An assessment of part of a family planning program is presented in a social environment characterized by high fertility, low contraceptive use and knowledge and great interest in information and practice of family planning methods. Accidental pregnancy rates and subsequent expulsions are similar to those found in urban environments and sea level. By contrast, first expulsions rates are higher than those established for suburban and metropolitan populations sea level, so it could be considered an effect of biological, possibly related to altitude conditions. Given this, the conceptual, analytical and methodological challenges faced between those engaged in their empirical research are evident. The objective of this instrumental research was to confirm the psychometric properties of the EACIN-R Attitudes towards Research Scale, which contains three factors with 28 items comprised in three subscales: interest, vocation and assessment of research. 220 students from a Peruvian university participated, 82 men and 138 women. Confirmatory factor analysis and parallel Horn analysis confirmed the internal structure of the instrument, the trifactorial model, and the number of items in each subscale. Cronbach's alpha index, for the reliability analysis, yielded a value of .898 in the total test. In addition, reliability was obtained for each of its factors, vocation (.862), assessment (.692) and interest in research (.757). El presente trabajo tuvo a bien determinar la relación entre el proceso lector sintáctico y semántico y la comprensión lectora. La investigación presenta un enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo relacional y de tipo teórico con diseño no experimental. La población estuvo conformada por 121 estudiantes de sexto grado de educación primaria de una institución privada de Lima.
