This talk is part of the CAP Research Award Project “Olla del pueblo - Una perspectiva del diseño hacia las identidades e imaginarios populares” (Folks Pot: A design perspective towards the identities and popular imaginary). Said research project in development aims to identify and propose guidelines for product design based on understanding the sociocultural processes that products go through as part of popular scenarios. Social innovation is recognized by multilateral organizations as a way to cope creatively and collaboratively with social demands that are not satisfied, neither from the public nor from the private. This challenge requires management reliable relationship between actors with diverse and sometimes conflicting interests. In this sense, the social function of public relations (PR) can provide an important service to prevent resistance to social changes that involve innovation processes. The literature consulted shows that theorizations on social innovation, recommend cultivating relational capital and theories and models PR provide methods and techniques to reliably achieve said capital. During the last two decades, the traditional media model of the local press has suffered a deep crisis which, together with the economic one, has led to the closure of many newspapers and staff cuts. The growing need for a truthful local news offer and the adverse labor reality in the communication sector have motivated many journalists to found their own local and hyperlocal media in the network. In this research, an exploratory study is carried out to elaborate the first map of local and hyperlocal online media in Spain, with the objective of knowing the presence of this type of media in the State. Objective: To describe the management of public oral health policies from dental operators’ and management teams’ perspective in the districts of Ate-Vitarte and Santa Anita in 2017. Materials and methods: An observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, analytical, prospective and mixed methods research. The instruments and pilot plan were validated after expert opinion, while reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s alpha. Moreover, contrast and triangulation of data from different sources were conducted. All ethical standards were met. Results: Fifty-seven point one three percent (57.13 %) of the interviewees were dental operators (odontologists) engaged in the SERUMS program and the rest consisted of management teams (directors and chiefs). The essay develops a description of the corporate and business criteria crystallized in the thesis of «corporate governance» embraced by the Anglo-Saxon academy from the deregulation of the Welfare State. It is postulated that the popular stories about saints in the area of Tarata (Tacna) are a continuation of the Andean stories as a result of active listening of the official hagiography (exposed by the evangelizers during the conquest and colony) by the Indians. Although, the stories about saints are far from the official hagiography, the mention of elements that show the saint as a paradigm and how this went through a process of transformation and blend with the environment, in which it was settled or “decided to stay” is evident. The Saints are constituted in characters that enable and support the process of identification with the new culture; when we attribute job and geographical knowledge of the area through interaction with local authorities. Syncretism and oral constant renewal that does not erase the Andean aesthetics and performance is built.
