The Cross-Borehole-Seismic Tomography is a seismic method most used for the determination of subsurface structure of the land. This method involves placing in a borehole the seismic wave generating sources, and in another borehole the receiver as waves detector. The tomographic image reconstructed from Cross-Borehole-Seismic Tomography is obtained by considering a parameter called slowness which is reverse speed with which the seismic waves travel, slowness S varies depending on the geological structure. Acute placental uterine vascular insufficiency is a cause of adverse fetal outcome in fetuses with failure to reach their growth potential and are born at an appropriate weight for gestational age. Clinical case. A 24-year-old patient, 37 weeks gestational age, went to the National Maternal Perinatal Institute of Lima, Peru, for reporting little vaginal bleeding. In the clinical evaluation, a BP of 90/60 mmHg, uterine height 32 cm, fetal heartbeat was found in 152. Focusing on our future is often associated with well-being, benefiting both the individual and society. However, the literature suggests that this relationship is not always consistent. Moreover, while this relationship has been studied in Lima from a subjective well-being perspective, it has not yet been explored using a psychological well-being framework. This study explores this relationship using Seigner’s, Nurmi, and Poole’s ‘Future Orientation’ and Diener et. al.’s ‘Flourishing’ constructs. The purpose of this research work was to establish whether there is an association between resilience and psychological well-being in psychologists working in the clinical field, for this, 93 clinical psychologists were selected for graduate students at a public university in the city of Lima. They were evaluated with the Sánchez Cánovas Psycho-logical Well-being Scale (EBP) and the Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale (ER). The general results show a statistically significant moderate positive correlation between resilience and psychological well-being, that is, as, in psychologists working in the clinical setting, with postgraduate training, the capacity to be able to successfully transform the adversities that arise in life, allowing them to adapt and project themselves successfully to their context also increases their perception of their personal satisfaction.

Introduction: Firefighting in forests is a dangerous and demanding task, highlighting the need to understand the well-being of these workers through tools such as the NIOSH Worker Well-Being Questionnaire in Spanish. However, this questionnaire has not been adapted and validated for the Mexican context. Objective: The study aimed to validate the NIOSH Worker Well-Being Questionnaire in Spanish for forest firefighters in Mexico. Methods: A psychometric design was used, including content validation through expert judgment in validation, health, and work activities related to firefighting. The questionnaire incorporates five domains with a Likert scale, and the Aiken's V coefficient was used for validation. La migración afecta no solo a quienes migran, sino que también puede tener efectos intergeneracionales en sus hijos. Al observar a las madres con antecedentes de migración interna que son parte del proyecto Young Lives, y al compararlas con controles adecuados, encontramos que la migración de las madres ha tenido un impacto positivo en los resultados nutricionales y el rendimiento cognitivo de sus hijos. Perceived changes in basic beliefs and growth related to life events were examined in three studies. A representative sample (N = 885), a sample of students and their families (N = 291) and a sample of students (N = 245) responded with a list of positive and negative life events, a scale of changes in basic beliefs and a post-traumatic growth scale. Positive events were strongly associated with changes in basic beliefs, while only weak associations were found for negative events. In addition, negative changes in basic beliefs were associated with growth only in negative life events and positive changes in basic beliefs were generally associated with growth.
