The objective was to describe a paradigm of transformation of biomonitors to the quality of bioecotoximonitors in aquatic ecotoxicology. The limitations of physico-chemical and microbiological parameters in environmental decision making to recognize the quality of aquatic ecosystems are discussed. The restriction of physical-chemical and microbiological parameters allowed the use of biological indicators to be considered as a bioassessment method. However, their presence or absence also means a disadvantage in the correlation with undesired exposures or intra-seasonal comparison. Therefore, biomonitors emerge that offer various interpretative possibilities. However, implicit in the concept of biomonitors is the assessment of quality at any time and period. A consequence of poor water quality is the presence of certain parasites as indicator organisms that can infect the biomonitors thems...

Despite a decade of decentralization, there has been no budgetary reform with a regional-national vision. The advancement of the macro-regional alternative requires a modern, participatory, planning and decentralized State that applies an inside-out model.

Academic literacy in a second language (L2) is a competence required by current society in academic and professional fields. However, perspectives have changed throughout the years in order to comply with the requirements of modern society; challenging academic writing standards. Therefore, an ample and inclusive comprehension that informs current practices occurring worldwide, where English is considered a lingua franca for communication, is required. This systematic literature review aims to describe an overview of paradigms towards academic writing as a continuum, integrating both traditional and current literacy practices throughout a revision of empirical studies conducted in this area. To conclude, switching from traditional normative approaches to more transformative ones, under the scope of New Literacy Studies and longitudinal studies, is suggested as an alternative towards acad...

In the media industry, fast innovations and increasing competition require a high degree of corporate leadership (Koryak, Mole, Lockett, et al., 2015). The study of leadership appears to be an increasingly relevant issue. This research aims to find out to what extent leaders (editors and publishers) behave and understand their roles in Chilean and Spanish newsrooms. A questionnaire was applied to measure and identify leadership traits that are considered crucial, thus making possible to acknowledge transformational leaders and differentiate efficient leaders from ineffective. The results show that editors believe they have the ability to inspire, share goals and understand what is important, in contrast with the working experiences of their employees, that often have a low opinion of media companies as places to work.

In the present article the evolution of property is exposed. Previously, the essence of property was constituted by the right of enjoyment, disposition and organization of social work. Abstract: To answer the question, and then what? it is first necessary to ask ourselves how we appeared on Earth and how we got to where we are; then to answer what happens today; and, finally, to try to establish how our disturbed human system might unfold in the future. Development and preparation of this document use a complex systems perspective. The link between human system components is considered as a social energy that can unite or repel. The greater the cohesion energy, the greater the adaptive capacity of the system; its continuity implies transformation. Entropic energy leads to collapse. The human system historical deployment has generated changes in the predominance of cohesion and repulsion energies that have manifested themselves in the pattern of bonds., Entropic energy has been enhanced with the appearance of the COVID-19 pandemic. The same goes for the growth of mental...

The arrival of biofuels companies in the Chira Valley, Piura, Peru, in order to produce ethanol on sugarcane cultivation, intensified the agricultural use of land and water in the mid-2000s. This article analyzes the ecological, political and social transformations that biofuels production brought about in the valley. For that purpose the paper describes the role of the state in promoting biofuels and the concomitant land and water-grabbing processes in the valley. It also explores the consequences it had for local communities and medium-sized and small farmers. Ethanol production in the Chira valley produced a profound space transformation because land and water-grabbing processes for biofuels reinforced social inequalities. The art market is a trust-based system and much of this trust is built over time through the reputation of the people involved. It is in this system where the digital is gaining strength, not only to be used as a means of communication, but also to position itself as another player in the system. The pandemic prompted the creation of the online media offer that sells works of art, companies and start-ups that have chosen to create digital platforms of various types for the sale of works. However, can we really talk about a digital transformation of the art market or is it a market that is wary of being immersed in a digital system? It's important to understand the visibility, trust, and transparency issues you face so you can overcome them. This work collects the experience of various actors within the sector.
