Objective. To approach higher agricultural education as a complex structure, explained by the functional relationships between the formative and the executive, under performance contexts that nestle in uncertainty and chaos. Method. The systemic alternative is proposed as a way to reach new rationalities about what higher agricultural education, agronomic training and its professional configuration should be, through a critical and reflexive approach to its professional practices. Results. The guidelines of a new perspective of educational training based on epistemic and theoretical-conceptual schemes, oriented from the complexity of systems, are postulated. Conclusions. Professional practices represent the pinnacle of all disciplinary training, which in the case of the agricultural engineer is manifested through the ways in which he understands the social reality to intervene in it. The impact of environmental education in the world has had a positive impact on student awareness. However, this problem involves a necessary approach of university pedagogical positions to achieve the effect that is needed in the students and thus achieve the training objective. The purpose of this article is to make known the pedagogical contributions related to three thematic axes: currents in environmental education, didactic approaches and methodological strategies. The methodology used is based on the exhaustive and systematic review of seminal articles and government reports to progressively guide the search towards articles in high impact journals; which has allowed us to reflectively analyze their development over four decades. Therefore, it is intended that the research constitutes a basis for the approach of future pedagogical approaches that allow a better teaching of environ...

Psychoanalytically oriented psychotherapy has interpreted countertransference as an obstacle to the therapeutic process. Since Freud, the central tradition of psychoanalysis has insisted on the need to control and isolate the therapist’s subjectivity from the analytical field, promoting an attitude characterized by professional neutrality, anonymity, and abstinence. Relational psychoanalysis critiques this old idea, arguing that the subjective life of the psychotherapist, including his countertransference reactions, constitutes a fundamental ingredient of any treatment and that it cannot and should not be dissociated from the therapeutic encounter. This paper addresses some of the relational theorists’ main ideas about countertransference’s nature and function in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. This article reviews the main relational criticisms towards the ideal of analytic neutrali...

The article reviews Jeremy Waldron’s theory about the legitimacy and moral authority of the various forms of constitutional justice. According to this theory, it is always illegitimate insofar as it violates the principle of majority decision, the only moral principle of legitimate legal authority. The author explains the conditions that, according to Waldron, a political community must gather so that his theory is applicable. He also ventures into forwarding some criticisms to the author regarding these conditions.Specially, the problem of the regressivity of Waldron’s argument and the problem of stability of his conditions are explored. However, it is assumed that Waldron’s theory off ers important contributions and a reflection is made in the face of the Venezuelan constitutional reality. Finally, a theoretical outline is used to combine the institution of constitu...

The dynamics of science and technology are the primary elements of the sustainable development of society in all areas. In the educational context, they have given rise to new forms of flexible, open and free or low-cost learning, such as MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) that, supported by emerging technologies, have a social effect and contribute to the democratization of knowledge. In this sense, the main objective of this work is to identify the implications (limitations and scope) of MOOCs for the development of an inclusive education supported by emerging technologies and their impact on society, taking into account the main factors that generate it and develop, from the STS (Science, Technology and Society) vision, through the application of historical-logical, analysis and synthesis methods and finally generalization-abstraction, taking primary and secondary bibliographic source...

This article addresses the importance of developing an instrument that measures media competence, that is, the set of abilities to interact critically with the media. It introduces the problem of media education in the information society and argues the need to assess the skills of citizens in this context. It approaches this need from three perspectives: the pedagogical challenge that implies the little knowledge of the media competence and its little institutional formalization; the political discourse that privileges educational technology over media education; and the methodological question, analyzed from recent assessments of media competence applied in Spain, Chile and Peru, limited to the self-perception. Finally, we propose the construction of an instrument involving two features: integrative in terms of content, and innovative in terms of methodology.

Since the beginning of its republican life, the Latin American peoples have made strenuous efforts to position themselves among those who bear the label of modern and developed. The repeated failures of these attempts were associated with deep questioning about the possibility and convenience of assuming progress and development projects, since the cultural characteristics of this part of the continent were very different from the original cultural contexts of said projects. Since then, at different times of acute social crisis in the region, heated debates have arisen around the cultural difficulties of local peoples in assuming as their own the processes of progress and development that Western modernization brought with it. In the midst of these controversies, polarized theoretical and pragmatic positions have emerged that decoded the relationship between modernization, development an...
