En la presente revisión, y apoyándonos en nuestra experiencia en el Hospital Comarcal de Jaca, intentaremos poner de relieve y discutir los beneficios y los problemas que generan las unidades de cirugía sin ingreso. Analizaremos los distintos tipos de programas ambulatorios y los modelos de unidad quirúrgica, mostrando sus ventajas e inconvenientes. Por último, intentaremos proponer diversas líneas para mejorar la calidad ofertada, la satisfacción del usuario y la relación coste / efectividad de los procesos quirúrgicos.

The article reaffirms the positive effects of immigration in the long term, however, with the intention of emphasizing the problems that arise in the short term, regarding the recent Venezuelan immigration in Peru. These problems derive due to the characteristics of the economy, as well as the nature of a large informal sector or the deficit of physical capital and public infrastructure. It is worth to note that the duration of these problems will depend on the quality of the public policies that will be implemented to achieve the benefits of immigration. Finally, some policy recommendations are proposed.

It is a fact well documented by economic theory that high and durable inflation has a negative effect on economic growth, but that as the effects on the latter decline, they are non-linear. This work answers two research questions related to the works that have studied this empirical relationship in the last three decades. The first is about its external validity: How useful are they to predict the economic evolution of emerging countries? Simulating the growth of a sample of emerging markets for the past 20 years from these models, we found high and disparate prediction errors and therefore certain drawbacks when generalizing their conclusions. The problem of safe obstetrical care has special relevance in recent years due to the interest of health professionals in reducing adverse events and improving healthcare. However, this is pursued in complex, uncertain and variable scenarios and risks, where human behavior may increase the probability of error. We often have to make short term decisions when attending two patients simultaneously – mother and fetus-, and the mother expects a deferential treatment during pregnancy, delivery and the puerperium. These processes involve multiple activities and tasks, and failures may occur. Faced with the paradigm change of involving the patient in the care and decision making process, we have to provide them with the most complete evidence, to avoid contingencies and to obtain the best possible results.

The essay analyzes the role that time plays in the single specific transaction, in order to revisit the classic category of long-term contracts. In this perspective, considering the variety of interests involved, the author reexamines the structuralist traditional concept of durable obligations related to a continuing and repeated prevision, aiming to associate long-term contracts mainly to the functional divisibility of the whole contract itself, to the concrete cause realized by negotiation through the time, to a dynamic consideration of the interests that parties would achieve through the duration. In this work we are concerned with the existence of strong solutions and exponential decay of the total energy for the initial boundary value problem associated with the quasilinear wave equation with nonlinear source and boundary damping term. The results are proved by means of the potential well method, the multiplier technique and suitable unique continuation theorem for the wave equation with the variable coefficient.

This work analyzes the technical problem in which the discourse of inclusive education has become through the lack of ethical responsibility of educational provision, a liberal argument that reinforces the permanent defense of rights while the conditions of oppression and domination conceived in terms of injustice continue to operate strongly in the life of each person and community. While there is no limit to being a victim of sexual abuse, the age of greatest risk is at the stage of puberty, probably because at this age express the changes in physical and sexual development as well as the expansion of space socialization. The high number of dysfunctional families, points out the importance in our environment have these events in the genesis of this problem. In the present work, we study a non-homogeneous second order partial hyperbolic differential equation, its canonical form, its resolution using D’Alembert’s formula and Green’s theorem. Only mixed initial conditions that are not homogeneous are required to solve this problem. There are several physical problems that lead to this type of mathematical model, so this technique of resolution contributes to the knowledge of finding explicit solutions of problems such as two-dimensional wave type. Within the results the explicit solution of three cases is generated: regarding the homogeneity and non-homogeneity of the initial conditions and the term source, from the point of view of analytical solution for continuous functions.
