The aim of this essay is to give an account of a debate that still seems to be very much alive, concerning the science of education and if it is more correct to speak of "science" or "educational sciences". Through a bibliographic review, this study attempts to provide an answer to the question: how is education seen? It is concluded that, given the complexity of the educational phenomenon, to speak of "educational sciences" would not constitute subsidiarity, but rather a rational and necessary interdependence with other disciplines, enabling the study of education in its true social, historical, biological and psychological dimensions.

This article has two objectives: to clarify the meaning of successful studies in the context of child support for children over 18 years of age and to define objective criteria for its provision and quantification. To this end, first of all, we will differentiate the nature of such a pension with respect to that held by minors and incapable adult children; subsequently, we will perform an axiological analysis and interpret the rules of the Civil Code involved in a literal, systematic and teleological manner. Finally, the incidence of the concept of «state of necessity» and the economic capacity of the obligor will be evaluated. The importance of this work lies in providing simple and clear criteria that facilitate argumentation and uniformity in judicial decisions.

This brief provides thoughts on the model of the Peruvian Judicial system, as a member of a democratic system of a wider spectrum that requires solid bases for its institutionalization. We address the weaknesses of the system which continues to exist despite the personal efforts of some judges directing this process over the last few years. This article addresses the methodological dynamics of ethnographic work in the context of social resistance to the granting of mining projects embedded within the extractivist model in the Altiplano-Wirikuta region (Mexico). We relate the design of the research object with the role of the researcher, and both with access to the groups, as dynamic processes of interaction that adjust according to social dynamics that cannot be fixed into static categories. We present this autoethnography as a methodological reflection that seeks to offer tools for the praxis of local resistance, reaffirming the role of anthropology as a discipline with the potential to co-influence and engage with resistance movements seen as drivers of change in the face of extractivism and other global threats.

This article will examine the causes, sources and processes of the anthropological conceptualization of the concept of indio —understood as object of study— taken place in Cusco, from the institutional foundation of the discipline in 1942 to its first great crisis in 1973. In that regard, I propose that said processes of conceptualization were determined by the social and political conditions surrounding anthropologists, in connection to the trending anthropological theory at the time and the institutional situation of the discipline. All this, in relation to specific ideological contexts —such as the indigenisms— and sociopolitical contexts —such as social revolts.

The aim of this study is to review translation research published in recognized translation journals to determine translation studies trends. To this end, 73 articles were analyzed from the following journals Translation Studies, The Interpreter and Translator Trainer y Perspectives, Studies in Translation Theory and Practice. Qualitative data were selected and reduced to facilitate the textual analysis of these articles. The object of study, keywords, objectives, field of study and place of production were the categories of analysis. The results show a different object of study from those most studied in our environment. Most of the research is descriptive. As for the fields of study, they refer mostly to the didactics of translation and the sociology of translation and the translator as well as of the interpreter.

The objective of the research was to determine the factors predicting the willingness to study among university students from a Lima-based institution. A total of 286 students aged between 24 and 29 years participated (M = 26.2, SD = 3.27), with 26.57% being male (n = 76) and 73.42% female (n = 210). Using a non-experimental, predictive causal design, measures included the Learning and Study Strategies Scale, Academic Satisfaction Scale, Family APGAR, Multidimensional Perceived Social Support Scale, and Study Willingness Scale. The results highlighted the development of a four-factor model that successfully predicted the endogenous variable at 63.4% (R2 = .652, adjusted R2 = .634, F = 77.23, p < .001). Further exploration of these factors and their practical and theoretical implications for study willingness was recommended.

We assess four variables with relevant importance over this penalty: Glass type, polarized film, polarization of the electromagnetic wave, and the tag type. The assessment is performed using experimental tests based in the Design of Experiment technique. From the results, a simplifiedmodel to determine the on-object gain penalty is developed.
