La investigación se desarrolló con el objetivo de determinar si la plusvalía urbana puede ser un mecanismo para mejorar el financiamiento de infraestructura pública en Nuevo Chimbote, 2018. El enfoque fue cuantitativo, el tipo no experimental y de diseño correlacional transeccional causal, la muestra fue de 196 personas entre arquitectos, ingenieros, población y trabajadores de la Municipalidad de Nuevo Chimbote; fueron elaborados dos cuestionarios para el recojo de los datos, la información se procesó usando el software estadístico SPSS V23.
