Objective: To identify ethical problems that Peruvian young physiciansmay face in their clinical practice. Material and method: Fourteen hundred and twenty nine (92%) physicians registered in the competition for residency vacancies in Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos for year 2009 participated in this study. The Hurst et al. scale for ethical experience was used, its validity was established in a peer-reviewed analysis, and its reliability was proved using the Cronbach-alpha test (749). En la presente revisión, y apoyándonos en nuestra experiencia en el Hospital Comarcal de Jaca, intentaremos poner de relieve y discutir los beneficios y los problemas que generan las unidades de cirugía sin ingreso. Analizaremos los distintos tipos de programas ambulatorios y los modelos de unidad quirúrgica, mostrando sus ventajas e inconvenientes. Por último, intentaremos proponer diversas líneas para mejorar la calidad ofertada, la satisfacción del usuario y la relación coste / efectividad de los procesos quirúrgicos.

The present paper treats about the juridical nature of prescription in administrative sanctioning law and the treatment that it receives in the composition of administrative liability of civil servants. In this context, the paper proposes a typology of prescription period of the administrative disciplinary procedure of the Civil Service Law, analyzing the main issues that each of them present, and makes some proposals of normative improvement that allows these periods to be protective for accused servants and also for Public administration.

The author performs an analysis of the power that public entities have, under certain assumptions, to attend their own needs for goods, services and proyects without the need of contracting with private individuals, but using self-provision. The study covers the conditions under which entities can opt for this alternative, the limits that exist for it and the consequences they bring to the effectiveness of the entity’s management. In addition, the author proposes considerations that should be adopted by legislation in the field for greater control and verification of the conditions of effectiveness.

El presente estudio versa sobre la ejecución proyectos eléctricos en baja tensión, los cuales son ejecutados por una empresa de servicios cuyas operaciones se realizan en Lima. El capítulo 1 presenta la literatura asociada a la solución del problema, en donde se desarrolla el marco teórico de las metodologías propuestas. El capítulo 2 muestra el uso de las herramientas de la ingeniería industrial a efectos de identificar el problema: “retrasos en la ejecución de proyectos de baja tensión con reforma”. The present study details the evaluation, analysis and improvement of problem management by applying the ITIL methodology, specifically to the problematic of the problem management processes of the Multi Vendor Services area in IBM Peru and the proposal to improve the current management, the which presents difficulties with the excessive times of solution of problems and increase of operating costs. To carry out the improvement, a sample of 52 records of tickets from a population of 185 corresponding to 120 days was obtained, under which the tests were carried out. In this paper, the casuistry of Gynaecology of the Archbishop Loayza Hospital analyzed by studying 40 cases diagnosed in some of the locations of genital endometrium; emphasis is to point out that the laparoscopic diagnostic method is a breakthrough for identification of pelvic endometriosis. Is the expediency of adopting a classification of the extent of injuries, for a proper therapeutic approach using the classification of Kistner and thus to make a prognosis regarding the evolution of the disease after medical treatment and / or surgical, emphasizing fertility prognosis of many patients affected.

Archives provide the basis for national historical narratives, a premise for nation-building. However, Peru’s government administration problems extend to national archives: insufficient maintenance resources and inadequate service to the public. This creates a duality (i.e., enormous potential yet bad services), which is especially noticeable in the «Archivo Agrario». Collected in the 1970s by Peruvian researchers, the «Archivo Agrario» is unique in Latin America, given the variety and origin of the documents. In this essay, and using my research as an example, I explore the challenges and, more importantly, the opportunities afforded by this archive —and the urgent need to transform it radically.

In a pandemic, the hearings, in most cases, have been held virtually. However, although there have been good results, it is not an obstacle to wonder if these can be carried out with the same effectiveness as a face-to-face session. In this sense, we have considered analyzing the comparative and national legislation on the hearing of evidence. Next, we have identified the problems with the virtual test audience; specifically, we have focused on the psychology of testimony and how its development can be influenced by virtuality. Finally, we have suggested proposals to improve the service of our administration of justice.
