This article presents an experience carried out by the faculty of the third year of the Infant Education degree at the Ramon Llull University in Barcelona (Spain). A proposal for multidisciplinary intervention that joins two modules: one for arts (musical, corporal, visual, and plastic education) and another for sciences (mathematics, and experimental and social sciences). The intervention stems from a generating idea—the book “Alice in Wonderland”—which allows for connections between the contents of the modules, involves co-teaching, multidisciplinary work, and shared evaluation experiences. The aim of the study is to get to know the perception of the participating faculty about the changes in the didactic components involved in the experience. For data collection, semi-structured interviews were carried out at three moments of the process and a discussion group at the end. The ...

We understand education as integral formation of the person. We believe that the work of teachers is to prepare students in class today to live and work in tomorrow's world, in an increasingly complex society that requires people who can solve problems and adapt to different situations (Burrill, 1998; Chamoso and Rawson, 2003). So far it has taught students to make, not to think. But mathematics is not merely a collection of facts and skills but, above all, a way of thinking (Kehle, 1999). Many studies recommend that students should learn to value mathematics, . feel secure in their ability to do mathematics, reaching solve math problems, learn to communicate through mathematics and learn to reason mathematically. The art of teaching has little to do with trade in knowledge, its primary purpose must be to promote the art of learning (von Glasersfeld, 1995). However, one can not forget th...

This study addresses the importance of developing financial competencies among university students, emphasizing its significant impact on both their personal and professional lives. It is a theoretical-documentary analysis that examines previous records and evidence on financial education and personal finance. The adopted methodology was qualitative, basic in nature, with a systematic review design using the PRISMA method. A content analysis technique and an instrument based on an analysis matrix were employed. Ten relevant studies published between 2024 and 2021 in Spanish and with open access were selected. The results reveal that despite progress in understanding these topics, there are still deficiencies in integrating educational strategies that promote responsible management of economic resources. It is concluded that implementing financial education programs in university curricul...

Faced with the change to the virtual teaching modality due to the COVID-19 pandemic, teachers have the obligation to prepare competent, critical and autonomous professionals who can respond to various situations and face challenges once they occupy their workspace, all this within the framework of virtual teaching. Assessment is one of the aspects that changed the most with this transition to virtual mode, and although learning platforms such as Moodle or Blackboard have different options for creating questions, sometimes these are not enough, especially in engineering and science courses. That is why it is required to use programs such as Wiris, which provides various tools for formulating questions. Considering this, this article aims to describe the main tools that Wiris offers in formulating questions and designing evaluations, in addition to showing the effectiveness of automatic fe...
