Urban planning is in a process of change. The established structures for decision-making are questioned, new participatory processes are tested in the planning of public buildings and a new culture of planning is demanded. This is especially evident in different collective groups of urbanism and architecture, which were founded in recent decades and seek to transform and improve the urban space with the help of participatory procedures and in cooperation with the local population. Interactive maps are digital tools that make information available to people in a visual way, in a single set. In addition, they offer the necessary flexibility so that each person can access the information of their interest. These characteristics make these maps an optimal tool to promote citizen participation. A successful example of the use of these maps as a tool to encourage citizen participation is the Mapa Infoparticipa Project, which,with these tools, socializes the transparency levels of local governments in countries such as Spain, Ecuador, Colombia, Chile and Brazil. In recent years, citizen participation has gradually obtained more importance in the development and application of public policies, expressed in various instruments created. Nevertheless those mechanisms are still incipient, formal and even discursive; many gaps hamper the exercise of citizen opinion, as well as limited use of evidence from academic and technical spaces is achieved. The parliament debate on Let Her Decide Citizen Initiative (citizen proposal to decriminalize rape-related abortion) is a good example to identify the kind of contributions obtained and their potential to generate favorable or unfavorable positions. This analysis pretends to show such positions, acknowledging the road that lies ahead for sexual and reproductive rights laws, especially those on legal and safe abortion, to have consensual human rights contents.

The cultural and educational programs aimed at the television of Ecuador are analyzed in relation to the use of social media, in a context of new legislation. The purpose is to establish the integration in social media from Facebook and Twitter in the programs Educa TV, Aprendamos y Expresarte.. The instruments used are the rate of participation in Facebook and Twitter Following - Followers ratio, in addition to interviews with involved. It is concluded that the cultural content tend to increase, the hearings do not build collectively; and, producers should not fail to create content, community, conversation.

The research conducted at the Educational Institution No. 14427 "Santiago Rolando Cano Rivera" in Pundín, Huancabamba, focused on strengthening the oral expression of 3- and 4-year-old children. It identified initial tensions in the classroom, such as the children's shyness when expressing themselves compared to their communicative freedom during recess, highlighting the need to implement effective pedagogical strategies and integrate families into the educational process. Here we present a model aimed at contributing to the literature around sustainable supply chains by examining a novel redesign initiative of the chocolate supply chain within the Peruvian cacao (cocoa) industry. Using the Creating Shared Value (CSV) framework, we apply the case study method in examining the Peruvian Cacao Alliance’s experience in redesigning both the stages and relationships within its supply of cacao to the world. Data were collected from both primary and secondary sources and analyzed after coding from categories defined in the literature on CSV. This article examines the evolution of the Afro-descendant women’s movement in Peru between 1980 and 2015. We examine the development of women’s conscious through other movements, specifically through the national Afro-Peruvian movement and the regional feminist encounters that have been taking place since the 1980s. Our study outlines the tensions, and points of convergence and divergence that have existed for Afro-Peruvian women in these movements. We demonstrate how these issues characterize the nature of Afro-Peruvian women’s struggle and their social and political position within the realm of race- and gender-based activism.
