Lima experienced in August 2016 a massive mobilization against violence against women. From different theoretical approaches (frustration, mobilization of resources, collective action and political opportunity) an attempt was made to explain these events; however, few focused on the framing approach as an instrument of social mobilization. Thus, collective action frameworks are action-oriented sets of beliefs and meanings that inspire and legitimize social movement organizing activities and campaigns. We see that social movements seek to build a discourse through frames, which give them the opportunity to sustain the movement, or, as far as possible, to add a greater number of followers and seek solutions that benefit them. Objective: To describe the characteristics of the use of a preventive app by the Peruvian population during its first year of operations between 2019 and 2020. Materials and methods: A descriptive, cross-sectional and retrospective study, in which the database of the Salud Total preventive app, concerning the demographic characteristics of and usage by the Peruvian population, was reviewed during its first year of operations. Sociodemographic variables (sex and age) and usage (health data, pathological findings, frequency of use, and type and number of services requested) were analyzed. This research was developed from a qualitative approach, with the participation of eight university faculty members through a discussion group. The objective was to understand the following aspects: (a) the faculty’s concept of mobile learning; (b) their perspective on using smartphones and tablets in the classroom; and, (c) the implications in the teacher-student relationship upon the incorporation of these devices in higher education. A quantitative analysis of panel data is proposed in order to analyze the effect of the use of the mobile telephone in rural zones by region of Peru during the last 10 years and capture the unobservable heterogeneity during the said period. El presente trabajo de investigación busca determinar de qué manera la implementación de una aplicación móvil influye en el monitoreo del paciente diabético, clínica “Diabetes y Obesidad SAC”, Los Olivos 2020, el tipo de estudio fue preexperimental, con una muestra constituida de 30 pacientes de la clínica Diabetes y Obesidad SAC de Los Olivos, para la recolección de datos se utilizó una encuesta que fueron divididos en un grupo de 30 personas. This research seeks to contribute to the literature on the determinants of the evolution of the number of cases and deaths from COVID-19 in Peru; specifically, the role of mobility of people —understood as displacement—, geography, and economic development. To do this, we use random-effects Poisson regressions and data from four groups of variables at the district level: (1) COVID-19, (2) mobility of people, (3) geographic variables, and (4) socioeconomic variables. The main results indicate that the mobility of people has a negative relationship with the probability of accumulating cases and deaths of COVID-19 until the ninth week of the pandemic, but it has a positive relationship from the eleventh week. This paper describes and proposes different engineering techniques for designing an intelligent system focused on environmental protection, based on stationary and mobile subsystems for monitoring physical variables. The variables selected for monitoring were water level, flow rate, pH, vibration, and surface water temperature, which are transmitted via radio frequency to an external monitoring center and a mobile unit. This system was designed using an optimized analysis of polynomial models to correlate each measured physical variable. El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar el efecto de usar el mobile cloud computing (MCC) en la gestión de ventas a crédito de una micro y pequeña empresa (MYPE) exportadora. El tipo de investigación fue explicativa y aplicada, el diseño de la investigación fue pre-experimental donde se evaluó los tiempos de la gestión de venta a crédito antes y después del experimento. Según los resultados obtenidos en la evaluación de los tiempos se logra disminuir el tiempo promedio en el acceso a la información en 1 880,45 minutos equivalente al 99,95%, se concluyó que existe diferencia significativa en los tiempos entre el uso de un sistema de escritorio y un sistema basado en MCC.

Currently in Peru, the water meter reading and electricity is conducted monthly by hand, resulting in loss of time to make a record twice: first in the manual page and then the billing system, additional human errors occur fingering, monthly billing with consequent inaccurate customer dissatisfaction. As an alternative solution arises designing a mobile system for remote meter reading, using Bluetooth technology.
