The actual existence of cyanide in very significant environmental catastrophes indicates that the cyanide management in the mining operation must be improved. Specifically, disposing right standard in the design and the construction of tailing disposals, water managing, qualification and training labor, fauna protection and the good operation of the systems of warning and emergency, all are areas of high-priority attention. Background: endocrine disorders may affect sexuality due to hormonal changes, associated comorbidities and psychosocial impact. This topic remains poorly researched from the perspective of people with these conditions. Objectives: a qualitative research was conducted to understand the sexual experiences of women and men living with endocrine disorders that change their physical appearance. Methods: an analytical-interpretive study was carried out with a sample of 68 participants aged between 20 and 45, and treated at the National Institute of Endocrinology, Havana, Cuba. Through a narrative research using guided interviews, photographic records and participant observation with members of the Theater Company of the University Center of the South of the University of Guadalajara (CTC) we analyze some of life skills obtained in six female members of the CTC who participated during two generations (the first starting in June 2011 and the second, starting in February 2014). Los aceites esenciales extraídos de diversas partes de las plantas han sido empleados desde tiempos ancestrales con fines medicinales, condimentarios, conservantes y aromatizantes. En este estudio, se llevó a cabo una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica sobre el uso de aceites esenciales en la industria de embutidos. Se empleó la metodología PRISMA para recopilar la información, obteniendo un total de 15 documentos técnicos y 17 documentos específicos sobre aceites de plantas aromáticas y sus efectos en productos cárnicos, siguiendo criterios de inclusión y considerando palabras clave relevantes. Palliative care represents an approach that improves the quality of life and well-being of patients and families who go through an illness, alleviating physical, psychosocial and spiritual suffering; with adequate information on their state of health, reinforcing human dignity through the principles of bioethics; it should be included in the entire care process starting from primary care. Health professionals have the commitment and ethical responsibility to mitigate pain and suffering regardless of the prognosis, evaluating the quality of life of the chronic patient, the impact of the disease, their adaptation to it, knowing how the treatment and the possible effects adverse events affect the evolution process, developing patient communication strategies to help decision-making.

Iron is a fundamental element for life, being essential in vital processes such as oxygen transport, electron transfer, enzymatic reactions, aerobic metabolism, photosynthesis or nitrogen fixation. Given the relevance of this element in metabolic routes central to life development, it is unsurprising that a great number of pathologies are linked to iron metabolism problems. Iron pathological species that appear in the frame of some diseases are nanometric materials, whose characterization presents huge difficulties. Detailed knowledge of these species may have great relevance in different problems such as the improvement of malaria diagnostic techniques or the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.

The present article sustains the importance and validity that have both the meaning of life, as a central concept of logotherapy and happiness, as an emerging topic of the positive psychology in the social scenary of COVID-19. Since these constructs can be linked in the fields of clinic and social psychology, it is necessary to provide a revision of their theoretical foundations withempiric evidences to clarify its characteristics and divergencies to the scientific community. This process is essential because the existential void, a widespread and visible phenomenon in our society, can be seen as a behavior with the loss of personal values and the emergence of inauthenticity.
