Learning strategies are a set of cognitive actions that are taken consciously, if we relate information in a meaningful way, knowledge will be easily remembered. For this to happen, first information will be processed and then action is taken.  Beginning from the subject to the problem. Likewise, these learning strategies are intentional processes that a student uses to  acquire, relate, process, retain, retrieve and regulate the information, in order for learning to be effective. That is, students use a learning strategy when they are able to adjust their behavior (what they think and do) to the demands of an activity or task given by the teacher and to the circumstances and vicissitudes in which this task occurs. When students employ a strategy they are, at all times, aware of their purposes but whenever they move away from them, they a...

The learning strategy shows how people who learn, think and solve problems successfully are strategic. So a person is strategic plans, evaluates and regulates their own mental processes. Therefore, the use of strategies in learning aims to select, combine and redesign cognitive processes. A learning strategy is a sequence of activities; consequently, an apprentice strategist must learn to design, plan the purposes of learning, and organize and lead those processes to achieve the desired competition. Strategic training therefore lies in both the acquisition of planning processes, the forecasting of instruments and the implementation and implementation of strategies to achieve the desired performance.

Permanent technological training favors teaching and its importance in learning modalities. Therefore, it is proposed to analyze the academic performance of permanent training in ICT skills for teachers and compare the performance of digital learning modalities. The research was quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional in a higher education institution with continuous training processes. Two editions of courses were considered in which online TIC tools were taught for teachers. The activity records made it possible to analyze the academic performance of permanent training in TIC skills for teachers and compare the learning modalities' performance through them. In this sense, the results of the teaching-learning process in TIC skills reflect that the evaluations of the first b-learning modality course with 44 participants present a 98% approval rate compared to the second e-learning mod...

Relevant points of artificial learning are exposed in order to understand it in a simple way, starting from some considerations and comparisons with human learning. The first steps that began the long path of the development of this faculty in machines are narrated, a process that in a short time was reaching unthinkable goals thanks to the joint impulse of microelectronics, computing, and neurosciences. The role of robotic imitation is highlighted as an effective technique to acquire model behaviours, without the need for complex algorithmic processes. Then the sequence that makes it possible for a baby robot to learn is described: Reception / Exploration, Reaction, Reinforcement, Repetition of the routine, Learning proper, and Prediction. It is concluded that the progress of artificial intelligence has generated computational models that today make possible even the autonomous learning...

The research set out to awaken the interest of the academic community about the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the country’s university education through the analysis of social isolation and remote work. University education faces a new scenario: to surviving or undergo the pandemic, and remote learning becomes a new strategy for our students to continue their professional training. UNESCO indicates according to its calculations there are more than 1,500 million students in the world (and close to 10 million in Peru) confined to their homes due to the pandemic. Results show that university teachers are obviously not familiar with remote work or virtual learning environments. Finally, it is concluded that the university teacher has the possibility of turning the health threat generated by COVID-19 into an educational opportunity through remote interaction, despite social isolation,...

There is a theoretical need for the pedagogical analysis, the presence and use of the New Information and Communication Technologies in the educational processes, this article proposes to recognize, from a sociocultural perspective, the Virtual Environments of Learning as an instrument of mediation. This means, as a component adding to the educational activity two orientations: as structure of external action and as a source for internal representation. Formulated in this way, a virtual learning environment orients itself towards proper ways of technological performance in the educational process. Simultaneously this triggers in students, new forms of cognitive regulation that offer new opportunities and strategies as a condition of learning. This perspective is part of the pedagogic dimension necessary for a pertinent application and orientation of learning in virtual trainning.

The main objective of this research is to deepen our understanding of the concept of cooperative interaction under conditions of asynchronous mediation in virtual learning. The study starts with the basic assumption that technology is not a neutral component in an interaction (Person–Machine–Person). It follows; therefore, that a change in the way of perceiving interaction may be created by the way manoeuvrability is facilitated via the internet and the framework of virtuality. The research methodology examines the cooperative asynchronous interaction as two different but complementary processes. The initial, theoretical exploration is designed to understand the psychological, pedagogical and technological factors under which cooperation in virtual learning is generated. The subsequent, empirical exploration is designed to observe –via a triangulation of the data– how the coopera...
