This article proposes to identify the attitude and habitual practices of Internet access among university students, in addition to knowing their degree of relationship with age, gender, semester, career and academic performance. For this, a qualitative and correlational research model will be used through a sociodemographic questionnaire and the scale Telephone, tool, territory, information treasure and toy (5T). 813 students from a public university in Mexico participated. The use of the Internet is massive among university students, there are specific differences in the type of content they access. Men, participants enrolled in the second semester and those who are 21 years old score higher when they use the Internet to play and as entertainment compared to their peers. Objectives: To study the knowledge abilities and access characteristics to the Internet in undergraduate medical students from a Peruvian University. Methods: Development and application of a questionnaire to medical students, report of the results and nested case-control analysis of data to identify variables related to the ability to surf the Internet. This research is the result of the study conducted at the end of the year 2014 to determine the minimum bandwidth required (to hire) by the Universidad Nacional de San Martín - Tarapoto [UNSM-T], in function to transfer to the LAN network-level rates require students who has a Wi-Fi device and use it on the University campus. To determine the required bandwidth applied the formula of Contreras, O and Contreras. N. (2010). This calculation was based on the application of statistical methods that allow to determine a sample that allows to infer the results to the University population.

This article develops a topic of interest for users who can access the Internet and do not know the dangers of connecting to a free access network where the administrator of this is unknown, so a connection to this network would not be recommended. The central theme of this research is to demonstrate the risks of connecting to unknown access networks. Esta nota técnica describe los procedimientos utilizados para desarrollar un módulo digital, administrado a ambas cohortes de Young Lives en los cuatro países de estudio durante la encuesta de hogares de la Ronda 5, en 2016. Los módulos se basaron en escalas existentes en este campo. Llevamos a cabo pruebas piloto de instrumentos y realizamos análisis psicométricos para presentar evidencia de la confiabilidad y validez de los instrumentos. Los ítems miden el acceso, las habilidades digitales y el uso de dispositivos digitales, incluyendo computadoras, tabletas, Internet y teléfonos móviles. Este proyecto muestra el diseño de la implementación de un sistema de acceso a internet utilizando la tecnología que aprovecha los espacios blancos de televisión (TVWS) usando la banda de frecuencias UHF para las zonas rurales del distrito de Santillana, Provincia de Huanta, Departamento de Ayacucho. Además, se eligió por conveniencia para el acceso a internet la estación remota VSAT instalada actualmente en el distrito. La presente investigación, tiene como objetivo exponer el impacto que tiene el acceso a internet sobre el crecimiento económico del país, esto impulsado por los proyectos regionales que se vienen desarrollando a nivel nacional para tener una mejor cobertura en las instituciones beneficiarias más alejadas del territorio. Se pudo identificar que los índices del sector telecomunicaciones tienen una postura ascendente de participación dentro del PBI. Asimismo, dar a conocer la participación de OROCOM S.A.C. en el sector telecomunicaciones y en su contribución a la reducción de las brechas digitales contribuyendo al desarrollo del sector con el fin de brindar un servicio de calidad en las regiones adjudicadas por el Estado.
