This article presents an overview of the problem of identifying linear and nonlinear systems (Wiener type) operating in open loop. There are several algorithms that solve this problem, among them are the subspace methods (MOESP and N4SID). In order to evaluate the performance of the MOESP and N4SID methods, a simulated example is presented to compare the performance of these algorithms.

Nowadays, an engineer’s work consists more and more of obtaining mathematical models of the studied processes. Great part of the literature referring to system identification deals with how to find polynomial models as Prediction Error Methods (PEM) and Instrumental Variable Methods (IVM). In case of complex systems, the state space model appears as an alternative to PEM and IVM models. Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that appears when the pancreas does not secrete enough insulin or the body does not properly use the insulin it produces. Insulin is a hormone that regulates glucose concentration in the blood: one of the most common effects of uncontrolled diabetes is hyperglycemia, which seriously damages many organs and body systems over time. In this sense, the development of predictive software, the diagnosis, and subsequent treatment of diabetes, especially of type 1 and 2, which are the most frequent, deserve attention. This paper presents a systematic review of the literature to determine the methods and problems in constructing diabetes-oriented trend identification systems. The results show 16 construction methods used in these systems, the most efficient being logistic regression and artificial neural networks.

The main objective of this paper is to develop a system to identify the emotions in a person using face recognition using artificial intelligence. The system development was based on the basic algorithm of Eigenfaces or Principal Component Analysis, one of the most widely used face recognition models. In addition, Python language and some of its available libraries such as Numpy, OpenCV y Sklearn were used for the implementation.

This article presents the description and results of the application of the algorithm for the simulation and identification of nonlinear dynamic systems using artificial neural networks (ANN) trained with the error back-propagation method (BP back-propagation) and the teacher procedure. forcing (BPTF). Several configurations of neural networks of two layers of neurons were analyzed, one hidden and the other output. The proposed neural networks have been applied to two test systems, the double pendulum dynamic system and the third order induction motor. The results obtained allow us to estimate that the neural networks that adopt BPTF are quite useful for the simulation and identification of nonlinear dynamic systems, mainly during the first time steps after the periods with which the neural networks under study were trained.

Census 2017 had a controversial question regarding indigenous identity. Media tried to explain it, and intended to help citizens to find their answer. But no one lay out the reason for such a question. The reason is related with the indigenous consciousness criteria stablished at the ILO Convention 169, and with the fact that, when the Convention was adapted to Peruvian legal system those criteria were changed. This paper will try to explain that failure implementing the treaty and will suggest a possible solution because the indigenous identity has a major impact on the global indigenous rights, especially regarding their right to prior consultation.

Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo general implementar el Electronic Chart Display Identification System para el remolcador PSA TALLAN que opera en el Puerto del Callao, buscando actualizar el sistema de cartas náuticas de la embarcación para mejorar la eficiencia en las operaciones portuarias y la seguridad conforme a los estándares internacionales OMI y SOLAS. The forensic anthropology in Perú has a recent development, because of the investigations assumed around the Armed Conflict Internal 1980-2000. Introduction. In Peru, the tele-triage system (TTS) led by volunteer students allowed for the remote identification of suspected COVID-19 cases. However, the barriers and facilitators of its implementation are still unknown. Objectives. To describe the barriers and facilitators regarding the implementation of a tele-triage system for the identification of suspected COVID-19 cases in Peru. Methods. A mixed-methods study was developed that described the characteristics of the users who participated in the TTS (quantitative). It also explored the perceptions of users and volunteers regarding the barriers and facilitators of implementing this service (qualitative). Results. In this work was done morphological and molecular analysis to 28 land snails of Megalobulimus oblongus, collected in different departments of Colombia, deposited in a reference collection. For morphological characterization, the animals were dissected in a stereomicroscope. The reproductive system and the shell were described. Measures were taken to structures of the reproductive system. Of the shell were described its shape, color, number of whorls and ornamentation and equally basic measures were taken using a digital caliper. For molecular analysis were used two mitochondrial markers, 16S rRNA and cytochrome C oxidase subunit I (COI). Only one haplotype was obtained for each marker, even for individuals of different and distant biogeographical regions.
