In 1984, in the context of Peru’s internal armed conflict between the Shining Path and the State (1980-2000), Lima’s socialist mayor Alfonso Barrantes Lingán decreed the creation of Huaycán, the first housing project targeting Lima’s poorest residents. Huaycán originated from a shared socialist vision by urbanists and shantytown settlers to address the politics of abandonment by establishing a co-management program between municipal representatives and the population. This article traces the creation of Huaycán, from 1983 to 1985, as a project that emanated from the demands of a new generation of urban residents. The article reveals the tensions derived from within the leftist front, and between the urbanists and shantytown settlers that created the project.

The purpose of this article is to carry out a comparative analysis between the social housing programs Renta Joven in Peru and the Bolsa de Vivienda de Alquiler in Barcelona, Spain. Through an exhaustive study of the problematic situation, the theoretical framework, and the characteristics of both programs, the results and limitations in meeting the housing needs of their respective beneficiaries are evaluated. The work is based on a qualitative approach, based on documentary review and critical analysis of primary and secondary sources. Likewise, throughout the article, the criticisms associated with each program are explored and recommendations are formulated to improve their effectiveness. Finally, conclusions are presented that seek to contribute to the improvement of social policies in the area of social housing.

Objective: The aim of this investigation is to determine the efficiency of Program “Healthy kids” in healthy supplyand physical activity for the prevention of overweight and obesity in students of primary education. Methodology:The design is descriptive with pre and post tries. One worked with obese students and with overweight that thereapproved the criteria of incorporation of the study. This work explains the recent evolution of housing policies in Peru and, on this basis, analyses the development of the residential real estate sector during the last five years, considering the financial and institutional factors that have led it. The first section describes the housing deficit of the country and gives an account of the previous housing policies and the context in which the MiVivienda Fund arises. The second section describes the housing production chain and the role of the aforementioned fund. Finally, the third section is devoted to the analysis of housing policies and, particularly, to the financing programs that the current government has implemented to convert the poorest population into homeowners. Finally, the document closes with recommendations on what should be done to maintain the achievements.

In the present study, we will analyze the socioeconomic characteristics of households in relation to the dwellings they occupy in the regions of Arequipa and Piura, based on information from the National Household Survey (ENAHO, INEI, 2004-2017). We have selected these departments because, due to their population concentration and socioeconomic dynamics, they are representative of the housing problem in the country. In the present work, the energy demand is simulated for an experimental housing module built in the village of Imata, Peru, located at 4500 masl. Prior, the temperature measurements and the energy calculations necessary to validate the simulation model with the program EnergyPlus were performed. To maintain a neutral temperature of 12 ° C in July and 15 °C in December, the simulation indicated that 3,54 MWh are needed yearly, with a daily maximum of 11 kWh in July and a daily minimum of 8,4 kWh in December (monthly averages).

This article seeks to make known of the high-risk that Barrios Altos has of losing its built heritage due to the presence of disproportionate storages. At the start, this article point out public projects and research results in Barrios Altos. In addition, there are two referential cases in Latin America: Quito and Old Havana. Finally, the research shows the study of how the mixed use of housing-storage sway in the low quality of public space in the Cinco Esquinas sector, Barrios Altos. The Space Syntax- Depthmap program is used for the analysis. Besides the following variables are considered: permeability, vehicular traffic, visual perception, storages, visual wealth, identity and activities in the public space. As a colophon, the article makes know the municipal control management and the need to have immediate legal processesare for the protection of the historic district.

Objectives. To assess the implementation of the Universal “Chispitas®” Multimicronutrient Supplement Program in Apurimac by determining the quantity and quality of sachets consumed and their connection with anemia, in 6 – 35-month-old children. Materials and methods. A crosscut study was conducted by using a multistage sample in 2010. Anemia was considered to be related to altitude-adjusted hemoglobin values below 110 g/L. The consumption of multimicronutrients was classified as follows: less than 30; 30 to 59, and 60 or more sachets. The quality of consumption was considered to be adequate when the mother indicated that the child ate all his food with the supplement.
