The following article explores users’ interaction with the media and how technological tools have allowed users to easily generate information in great volumes for the media, known as User-Generated Content (UGC). Mobile devices have undoubtedly become a powerful tool to report to the media through messages, pictures and videos. However, there are some users who deliberately create false information, known as “fake news”, which rapidly spreads through social networks. Quite often, journalists pick up this information and their job is to verify its veracity before publishing.

Comedian Ángel Martín edits and presents the Informativo matinal para ahorrar tiempo (IMPAT), a daily two-minute audiovisual newscast distributed on major social networks, with a daily audience of around one million views. This format has generated a community of followers who expand its original content by creating mimetic sector-specific news programs. This study analyzes the thematic agenda and stylistic features of the IMPAT, as well as the news programs developed by its followers. In recent decades, a global fact-checking movement has emerged that aims to combat disinformation. These organizations use social media to make verified content visible. This work aims to know the characteristics of the content published by Spanish verifiers on Instagram, investigate what factors can predict interaction and evaluate the importance to their communities. For this, all the publications of the Spanish fact-checkers linked to the IFCN on Instagram during the year 2021 (n=655) have been analyzed. The possession of integral models that allow to dimension new knowledge continues being a challenge to demonstrate. The purpose of study was to describe a methodological cognitive model for the generation and contribution of scientific results. Through the quantitative technique by content analysis, the proposed model was constructed, which consisted of three processes: 1st) management of scientific information, 2nd) cognitive interpretation; and 3rd) scientific writing. Each process derives recognition structures in a transitional manner, which makes it possible to, the construction towards a validated information. It was concluded that, in any field of research, it is required from the capture of primary information until the new scientific communication achieved as far as the proposed model allowed.

The article analyzes the series Generation War (Unsere Mütter, Unsere Väter, 2013) to explore how melodramatic fiction contributes to the collective memory of Nazi Germany as Holocaust witnesses gradually disappear. A content analysis of the series’ three episodes is based on the hypothesis that emotional narratives can influence the preservation of memories and intergenerational dialogue about Hitler’s crimes. This analysis employs nine categories derived from the literature on audiovisual melodramatic modes: victim-characters, threatening forces, nostalgia, spaces of innocence, suspense, redemptive death, narrative logic disruptions, random fate, and moral reading pact. This study focuses on the talent acquisition and retention policies of Generation Z in Spanish family businesses, a significant sector in the country’s economy. Using a mixed approach of qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys, it explores the perceptions of managers and young employees on talent management policies. Through graph theory, visual network analysis and a broad overview of the content of selected channels, communities are examined to assess their strength as a community in terms of their degree of connectedness and density. Strong communities are composed of individuals who spread the word about the same topic and viewpoint, acting as one block. Results showed that content creators who promote CAM on YouTube have small and weak communities; in contrast, content creators related to scientific dissemination, who are against CAM, have built strong communities.
