El reporte clínico presentado tiene como objetivo general detallar la restauración de clase II con resina Bulk Fill, teniendo en cuenta que la odontología restauradora desarrolla nuevos paradigmas con nuevos monómeros y fotoiniciadores, que a través de la luz se inicia la potencia, siendo capaces de ser incorporado de un espesor de 4 a 5 mm, es material nuevo en el mercado y permite agilizar el trabajo. The evolution of direct restorative materials for posterior dental pieces has led to the generation of simpler processes that are easier for the clinician to perform. This is how bulk fill composite resins arise, in order to simplify the technique and provide the clinician with speed and practicality when performing the restoration. Although it is true that these materials have been used, there is still a lot of ignorance on the side of the professional about how to use them correctly. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo comparar el sellado marginal entre restauraciones directas con Sonicfill™ y con Tetric N-Ceram Bulk Fill en premolares. Para tal fin, se realizaron restauraciones en 20 premolares superiores, 10 fueron restaurados con la resina Tetric N-Ceram, y los otros 10 fueron restaurados con la resina Sonicfill™. Una vez sometidas al termociclado y al colorante fucsina fueron seccionadas para proceder a la evaluación mediante el estereomicroscopio. This paper describes the implementation of an automated prototype for the filling and capping of plastic bottles, in order to increase the quality level of the products as well as the productivity in the bottling of the bottles. The prototype has been developed with pneumatic actuators, sensors, solenoid valves, solenoids, motors and a programmable logic controller (PLC S7-1200) as well as a gin wheel so that it can control the process automatically, reducing the bottlenecks And allowing uniform filling. El objetivo de esta investigación fue evaluar la microfiltración de dos resinas compuestas una Nanohíbrida y la otra Bulk Fill e restauraciones clase I en premolares. Dicha investigación se realizó en el laboratorio de microbiología de la Universidad Católica Santa María, se utilizó el azul de metileno para medir la microfiltración de las restauraciones clase I. En este estudio se busca evaluar el sellado marginal de dos resinas: 3M Filtek™ Bulk Fill y Opus Bulk fill APS-FGM™ con profundidad de 4 mm y 5 mm, fotopolimerizadas con lámpara led Poliwave®, con el programa High power a 20” y 40”, respectivamente con intensidad de luz de (1200 mW/cm2), in vitro. Esta investigación es de tipo experimental, prospectivo, analítico, transversal, explicativo y observacional. Las resinas bulk- fill aparecen como una nueva generación de resinas compuestas por lo que es necesario conocer sus propiedades. El objetivo de este estudio fue comparar la microdureza superficial de tres resinas bulk- fill y una resina convencional, aplicadas en bloque. The restoration of large class II MOD cavity preparations is a highly complex clinical scenario. Selecting correctly a composite resin and planning the stratification sequence will improve the adaptation of the composite resin masses and will control the polymerization shrinkage stress. In the following clinical case report, the step- by-step protocol of the combined use of an high-refractive-index enamel-like composite resin is shown for the restoration of lost marginal ridges and the occlusal surface, together with a low viscosity Bulk-Fill composite resin for dentine reconstruction in a highly damaged posterior tooth.

Objetivo: Determinar si existe variación en la microdureza y profundidad de polimerización con relación a la distancia de fotoactivación en una resina Bulk Fill. Métodos: El estudio tuvo diseño experimental, transversal, analítico y prospectivo. La muestra estuvo conformada por 30 especímenes de resina Bulk Fill. Se midió la profundidad de polimerización según la Norma ISO 4049. Las distancias de fotoactivación fueron 0,01, 4 y 8mm. Las muestras fueron conservadas por 24 horas a 37°C. Objective: To compare in vitro the mechanical properties and depth of cure of bioactive bulk-fill resins versus bulk-fill composite resins. Materials and methods: An in vitro experimental study was conducted with 48 blocks of three types of resin. Each block received a load of 500 g for 30 seconds and was photopolymerized with a VALO® Cordless-Ultradent unit (1500 mW/cm2) for 4 seconds. Microhardness was evaluated using the Vickers hardness test, employing a calibrated LG® HV-1000 hardness tester. The aim of this study is to present a case in which after the endodontic treatment failed, a cystic lesion was observed in periapical area. The present case concerns a 39 years old female patient without relevant medical history, attended SERODU dental clinic, on clinical examination during the palpation the presence of a soft consistency tumefaction that would be affecting the integrity bone tissue, without symptomatology. The pulp vitality tests turned out to be negative. A radiolucidal shadow compatible with chronic periapical lesion affecting 11 and 12 teeth was observed during the radiographic examination.
