We discuss, based on a narrative theoretical review, the basis for the development of post-normal political culture studies for a better understanding of the environment as a political object in Latin America. To this end, we conduct a historical reconstruction of approaches to the environment as a political object and its arrival in the discipline of political science. Despite the absence a of a "green" subfield in the behaviourist tradition of political science, the environment has been the object of various political culture studies, mainly from the Global North. We review these studies and recognise their theoretical and methodological contributions but point out that they can only explain the phenomenon in Latin America to a limited extent. Likewise, we show how the characteristics of Latin American hybrid political culture and the lines of development of State-society relations in ...

This article describes and compares the levels of self-control and impulsivity, key aspects of self-regulation, in three age groups to evaluate possible differences due to age; and at two times: September 2019 (n=190), a normal period, and September 2020 (n=199), a period with lockdown during the pandemic. It was found that self-control increases, and impulsivity decreases with increasing age. Also, improvidence impulsivity was higher during the pandemic, while compulsive urgency and self-control were lower than in 2019. In short, age is a relevant factor in explaining differences in self-regulation, and the COVID-19 restrictions led to a depletion of self-control and greater impulsivity in times of stress.

El propósito de estudio consistió en evaluar la resistencia a la fractura en una resina y cerómero en el sector posterior con y sin pulido. In vitro 2025.

To describe the levels of stress, depression and family functionality in the health team of the Central Military Hospital in Colombia and to explore possible factors associated with these conditions, in order to generate reflections on psychoeducational approaches in health personnel. Methods. Observational, analytical and cross-sectional study with a nonprobabilistic, consecutive design, in which three instruments were used: the APGAR FAMILIAR, the HADS and a questionnaire for the evaluation of stress. 229 people participated, who met the eligibility criteria. Results. The study population included a total of 229 workers, 68 % (n = 156) were women. Stress levels, according to the frequency found, were "high" and "very high" with 49.78 % (n = 114). The participants reported a normal family functionality 61.57 % (n = 141); as for the depression status, the normal level stands o...

The research was aimed at relating the concentration of metals in the soil with the content of Manihot esculenta (yucca) crops in the areas of Puerto Almendra Nina Rumi, Loreto. The study was of a correlational type at a cross-sectional descriptive level, with an experimental design during the months of May to July 2021, the technique was observation and the instrument the protocol for the concentration of the analyte by atomic absorption, in the cultivation soil, in root and leaves of the Manihot esculenta plant (yucca) and the content in mg / kg (ppm) of metals was considered: Fe, Cu, Cr, Mn, Zn, Cd and Pb. The study determined that the concentration of metals in the soil at the depths of 0-20 cm and 20-40 cm, were above the normal parameters established by the ECA, with respect to the first depth, the highest was Manganese between 195-201 ppm and the lowest was Cadmium between 0,07-0,...

The study design was observational, descriptive, and cross-section. The sampling was non-probabilistic and census-based. A total of 116 medical records were reviewed, and the variables considered included demographic characteristics (sex, breed, age), clinical (signs), blood biochemistry (alanine aminotransferase [ALT], aspartate aminotransferase [AST], and alkaline phosphatase [ALP]), and ultrasonographic findings. The database was organized using Microsoft Excel (version 16), processed, and analyzed with descriptive statistics using STATA software (version 18). The most frequent demographic characteristics were male sex (56.03%; n = 65), mixed breed (52.59%; n = 61), and adult age ...

To determine the relationship between nutritional status and hemoglobin level; type of breastfeeding and nutritional status; type of breastfeeding and hemoglobin level of the 6-month-old infant who attended the CRED control of the Centro de Salud Perú-Corea, Huánuco, 2019. Methods. It was a quantitative, retrospective, analytical and cross-sectional study. The sample population was 564 clinical histories of 6-month-old infants. The hypothesis test was based on the chi square test of independence, considering a p 0,05. Results. Evaluating the type of breastfeeding consumed by the 6-month-old infants, it was found that 65.6 % (370) continued with exclusive breastfeeding, compared to 25.7 % (145) with mixed breastfeeding. The nutritional status was normal in a higher proportion [99.1 % (559)]. The nutritional status was normal in a higher proportion [99.1 % (559)]. The he...
