Child malnutrition is a major challenge for Angola. Objective: to identify factors associated with mortality due to child malnutrition in the Provincial Hospital of Benguela. Materials and methods: Case-control, observational and analytical study. The case group, made up of 51 children who died of malnutrition between May 2019 and May 2020, and the control group, made up of 102 living malnourished children. The matching was carried out according to the following criteria: diagnosis of malnutrition, age group, sex and origin. Medical records were the source of information. The X2 test made it possible to determine the association between the study variable and the rest, while the OR classified them as risky or protective, with 95% confidence. Objetivo: Exponer una metodología para implementar una estrategia de perfeccionamiento en la gestión nacional de producción de software educativo en la Educación Médica en Cuba. Materiales y métodos: estudio aplicativo y analítico implementado en la educación médica en Cuba del 2010-2016. Universo de estudio: 180 desarrolladores de software educativo de la educación médica subdividido en tres estratos. Malnutrition has serious consequences for children by affecting their growth and development. Objective: To identify the factors associated with malnutrition in children under five years of age. Materials and methods: observational, analytical, cross-sectional and retrospective study. Theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistical methods were applied. Study population: children under 5 years of age treated at the pediatric hospital in Menongue, Angola, between January and March 2023 (n=211). Exclusion criteria: terminally ill children, incomplete medical records, and responsible persons who did not agree to participate in the study.
