The residual oils represent a problem for the environment, because they contaminate the water producing an uptake of oxygen that prevents the subsistence of aquatic organisms. This investigation had the objective of determining the components present in the frying oil used from restaurants in the city of Guaranda, Bolívar - Ecuador prior to its conversion to Biodiesel. Samples were obtained from three fast food restaurants the most popular in the city in mention. Physicochemical analyzes were carried out with a filtration starting point, the analyzes performed on the oils were density, acidity, humidity or loss due to heating and refractive index, and their comparison with normative parameters. This article discusses the various meanings attributed to the concept of research methodology, based on an analysis of the study plans and programs of three doctoral programs in education in Mexico. These programs have well-established faculty and have produced several generations of trained students. The article outlines the methodology used to analyze the curricular discourse related to the concept of research methodology, and presents findings that highlight the different interpretations given to key elements of this concept across the three programs. The results reveal nine major attributions of meaning to the concept of research methodology, with varying degrees of similarity across the three programs. El proceso de generación hidroeléctrica se compone esencialmente de tres etapas que son la del embalse de agua, la de transformación de energía hidráulica a energía eléctrica y la de entrega de la energía eléctrica para su distribución. En la etapa del embalse se realizó la cuantificación de emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero usando la metodología propuesta por la Organización de las Naciones Unidas, denominada Panel Intergubernamental para el Cambio Climático del 2006 en diez centrales hidroeléctricas peruanas. Se concluyó que, en la primera fase de la generación hidroeléctrica, que es la del embalse, la contaminación significativa total de dióxido de carbono, CO2, llegó a ser 83947 toneladas por año y se contrastó los resultados comparando con datos obtenidos de embalses similares de hidroeléctricas brasileñas.

The aim of this study was to know the perception and knowledge of small producers about the behavior of the climate, its effect on milk production and the practices that allow adaptation to this behavior. The study was developed in Carmen de Carupa and Suesca (Cundinamarca, Colombia) with 40 producers who shared their knowledge through a semi-structured interview. The causes of climate change, events that affect milk production, changes in the climate in recent years and strategies that allow its adaptation were investigated. It contains components rich in carbon and nitrogen that are important for the generation of a very good quality compost, this is achieved with a homogeneous mixture of these, in such a way to achieve an optimal C / N ratio in a range of 30 to 40 ( wet matter). Variants of 30 (CB), 35 (CR) and 40 (CA), low combination (CB), regular combination (CR) and High combination (CA) were proposed for the experiment to know the proportions of the treatment. Se evaluó el efecto de cuatro edades de cosecha (90, 120, 150 y 180 días) sobre el rendimiento de biomasa aérea y composición química de la colza, así como su uso como suplemento henificado para vacas lecheras en pastoreo a 3279 msnm. El rendimiento forrajero y la composición química se evalúo en 16 parcelas, 4 por tratamiento, de acuerdo con un diseño de bloques completos al azar. La biomasa de colza cosechada fue henificada y picada a 1 cm de longitud, suministrada diariamente a razón de 3 kg por vaca. The chemical and microbiological characteristics of cocoa shell silage (Theobroma cacao L) treated with natural yogurt as an inoculum source for use in animals of zootechnical interest were determined. A total of 25 plastic bags of 1 kg capacity were used, and they were evaluated on days 1, 4, 8, 15 and 30 of fermentation. En el presente trabajo se ha presentado un análisis de transistores de efecto de campo usando fuentes de voltaje pulsadas. Se han realizado medidas de microondas en dispositivos de tecnología HEMT’s y LDMOS poniendo en evidencia la diferencia entre el comportamiento estático y dinámico de dichos dispositivos. En base a las medidas se ha realizado un procesamiento de datos derivando una nueva ecuación con la capacidad de reproducir ambos tipos de comportamiento con elevada precisión y en diferentes puntos de operación. Archaeometry is applied to analyze archaeological ceramics in the Peruvian Amazon. This scientific method allows us to identify its chemical and mineralogical components, just as the raw materials used to produce ceramics. At the same time, it gives us directions about the geographical location of the quarries. The archaeometric analysis let us verify that tempers or organic origin degreasers, as ‘apacharana’ or ‘cauchi’ water sponge, used by Amazonian natives, could have a high mineralogical percentage of aluminosilicates. This research corroborates several hypotheses about mineralogical components in the ceramic making process and other social aspects about chronology and dynamics of interaction processes between prehistoric Amazonian societies.

The chemical characteristics of a silage of banana (Musa paradisiaca) and baby banana (Musa acuminata AA) rachis treated with whey and urea were evaluated. In total, 24 microsilos of 1 kg capacity were prepared and the pH, dry matter (DM), crude protein (CP), crude fiber (CF), ashes, ether extract (EE), nitrogen-free extracts (NFE) and gross energy (GE) were determined at 0, 1, 4, 8, 15 and 30 days of conservation (four microsilos for each day). The silage material presented an adequate pH and produced significant increases in the content of DM, CP, ash, EE, NFE and GE and a reduction in the content of CF, with respect to the rachis in its natural state. Se evaluaron las características químicas de un ensilado de raquis de plátano (Musa paradisiaca) y banano orito (Musa acuminata AA) tratado con suero de leche. Se prepararon 24 microsilos de 1 kg de capacidad y se determinó el pH, materia seca (MS), proteína bruta (PB), fibra bruta (FB), cenizas, extracto etéreo (EE), extractos libres de nitrógeno (ELN) y energía bruta (EB) a los 0, 1, 4, 8, 15 y 30 días de conservación (cuatro microsilos por cada día). The main objective of the research was to obtain metohuayo oil by hydraulic pressing versus screw pressing (at 50, 70 and 90 °C). The variables evaluated on the extracted oil were: extraction yield and physical-chemical. The seed stood out for its high fat content (40.5 %) and color L* (29.3), a* (9.7) and b* (18.4). Screw pressing at 50 °C presented the maximum yield and oil recovery values: 39.2% and 96.9%, respectively. The same trend was observed for the quality parameters analyzed: acidity index, peroxide index, p-anisidine index and coefficients K232 and K268, where their values showed an increase related with temperature levels of the screw pressing.
