Using data from 1361 students we validate the Meta Evaluador Web where: a) the bank of Study and Self-Regulation Strategies used 50 items calibrated for confirmatory factor analysis. The results of their banks (Cognitive Strategies; Person and Self-Regulation Task and Materials) showed higher rates to 0.90 and RMSEA less than 0.07, with Cronbach alpha’s > 0.83. The fit between the theoretical and empirical models validated their constructs; b) the Personal Epistemology bank, used 12 item calibrated and its adjustment index confirms construct validity (0.90, RMSEA = 0.07) and c) Reading Comprehension bank used 18 calibrated items with convergent validity (CFI = 0.96; RMSEA = 0.03), all of them, with an acceptable homogeneity.

This paper examines, including humor, the ludic function of language, which is faced dialectically with the referential function. El análisis de modelos deformables tridimensionales tiene actualmente un creciente interés para muchos investigadores en el área de geometría computacional. El aumento de escáneres de rango y otros dispositivos que extraen información tridimensional, permite generar gran cantidad de modelos tridimensionales, los cuales tienen aplicaciones directas; por ejemplo: en la medicina, restauración de piezas de arte y nuevas interfaces interactivas, solo por mencionar algunas ´áreas de la industria. En la literatura existen técnicas orientadas a extraer características importantes, seleccionado solo algunos puntos importantes, los cuales serán denominados puntos de interés. Sin embargo, el nivel de granularidad con que es representado el modelo tridimensional mediante puntos de interés, es muy fino y requiere de mayor cantidad de información para representarlo.

This article discusses the various meanings attributed to the concept of research methodology, based on an analysis of the study plans and programs of three doctoral programs in education in Mexico. These programs have well-established faculty and have produced several generations of trained students. The article outlines the methodology used to analyze the curricular discourse related to the concept of research methodology, and presents findings that highlight the different interpretations given to key elements of this concept across the three programs. The results reveal nine major attributions of meaning to the concept of research methodology, with varying degrees of similarity across the three programs. The fingerprint orientation field is a widely used feature for developing indexing strategies. Such feature brings stability and decreases the response times during the identification process. The use of attribute relational graphs and dynamic masks can exploit the features provided by the partitioning scheme. The penetration index and the error rate for each of the proposed strategies were determined. To verify the results obtained were used the databases provided by the Fingerprint Verification Competition. This article analyzes the impact of the instructional redesign of a course aimed at developing written communication skills, implemented in 2018 at a private university in Lima, Peru. The research is framed within the socio-discursive interactionism (SDI) model, which views writing as a situated practice shaped by specific communicative contexts. It also draws on the Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC) approach, which promotes writing as a transversal tool across all disciplines, emphasizing its cognitive (Writing to Learn), critical (Writing to Engage), and rhetorical (Writing in the Disciplines) dimensions. Owing to the impossibility of explaining the abrupt changes in the Peruvian economy, especially since 1968, using traditional variables (physical capital and workforce), this piece attempts to do so by applying fresh ones (human capital, government spending and real liquidity). These provide an explanation for a substantial part of the function of production in the Peruvian economy between 1960 and 1990. The use of these variables is grounded in the models of growth with endogenous technical progress, which suggest that an economy's growth does not depend on any single factor but a combination of them. This research develops a methodology to automate the process of counting the number of granules that remains in a toilet after being flushed (ASME A112.19.2-2018/CSA B45.1-18). This work integrates a U-Net convolutional network with a variation of the connected component algorithm. The training set consisted of 3678 images. Results show an accuracy above 98% between 0 and 180 granules. The methodology has been implemented in the production line.
