Academic satisfaction has been studied from different perspectives that considerate distinct ways of measurement. However, the plurality of evaluated facets prevents a more parsimonious assessment of the general students’ academic satisfaction. In the article, we aimed to provide psychometric evidence of the validity and reliability for the AMSS in Brazil in two studies (N = 893). In Study 1, an exploratory factor analysis and item parameters (Item Response Theory) support the one-factor solution and the suitability of the six items. Moreover, evidence for factorial invariance across gender and convergent validity with the PANAS and with the SWLS was also presented in Study 2. In conclusion, the present paper provides evidence of the adequacy of the AMSS to evaluate global satisfaction with the academics course in Brazil.

The Future Time Orientation Scale (FTOS) is a measure that assesses the extent to which a person is impacted by their psychological future. Several validity and reliability evidence for the FTOS have been investigated in the Brazilian and Portuguese context based only on adult samples. Considering that future time orientation is sensitive to age differences, the validity and reliability of the FTOS among adolescents cannot be ensured based on studies with adults. Thus, the purpose of this study is to assess the psychometric properties of the FTOS in a sample of Brazilian adolescents. The article analyzes how family structures in Peru have evolved and how Article 495 of the Civil Code does not adequately reflect this diversity. Currently, only 21.8% of family units in Peru correspond to the traditional family, while 61.4% adopt other forms, such as single-parent, same-sex, and blended families, and the current legislation remains focused onprotecting only traditional family units,excluding those who do not fit this model.The analysis of the Registry Court’s resolutions shows that Peruvian legislation maintains a strict interpretation, excluding those without a spouse or dependent children from patrimonial protection. This thesis presents the research results of a quantum dot coupled to a conduction band with spin-orbit coupling (SOC), Specifically, a simgle electron transistor (SET). We study the dependence of the Kondo temperature and the thermoelectric transport properties with SOC. The problem is modeled as a single impurity Anderson model in the presence of the conduction band spin-orbit interaction. The SOC mixes the spins of the conducting electrons, and as a consequence, the SU(2) spin symmetry of the Anderson Hamiltonian is broken. We recover the Anderson Hamiltonian SU(2) symmetry through a rotation of the system’s spins along with rˆ axis, where the ground state of the problem can be considered the Kondo many-body singlet state. The article approaches knowledges and biodiversity maintenance among ecological farmers in the west of Santa Catarina state, Brazil. The intellectual property rights have had direct effects onseed production. Between patents and other systems of control, family farmers deny treating life as a «resource». This paper has adouble aim: firstly, to analyze the intellectual property international panorama over biodiversity and knowledge; secondly, to examine practices of organic smallholders engaged to Rede Ecovida de Agroecologia (an organic farming network born in the southern Brazil) related to alternative forms of knowledge management and production of patent-free seeds. The result is the action which parallels the critique of the decrease on the availability of crop varieties and the effort to multiply seeds and knowledges throughout networks and agro-biodiversity centres.

El objetivo de este trabajo fue sintetizar matrices vítreas homogéneas basadas en óxido de silicio y óxidos alcalinos (litio, sodio y potasio) dopados con iones de tierras raras (Nd3 +, Sm3 +, Pr3 +) que sirvieron como sondas locales, para investigar el efecto de la densificación inducida por altas presiones (7.7 GPa) de estas matrices en propiedades estructurales y espectroscópicas. Para la caracterización estructural, se realizaron mediciones de espectroscopía de absorción infrarroja y Raman en los vidrios producidos revelando el efecto de cada ion alcalino en la matriz de sílice. Para evaluar el efecto de la densificación de alta presión en los vidrios, se realizaron mediciones espectroscópicas antes y después del procesamiento a 7,7 GPa. Objective: Evaluate the surface roughness, weight and color of a composite resin, submitted to two finish and polish systems, after contact with beer and rum. Materials and methods: 63 BrilliantTM NG (COLTENE, USA) composite resin discs of 10 mm in diameter and 2 mm thick, after 24 hours of permanence in distilled water, randomly divided into three groups (n: 21) for polishing using Sof-flex (3M-USA) discs and fine-grained diamond burs (KG-Sorensen, Brazil) and third group without any procedure, for each sample the initial measurement was made in weight, roughness and color. This article undertakes a comparative study of the ius aedificandi in Peru, with the aim of defining its scope and exploring possible improvements. For this purpose, three references were considered: Spain, Brazil and Colombia, countries in which the ius aedificandi does not integrate —at least, automatically— the property right (of the land). In Peru, by contrary, the civil law conception of this right remains in force, whereby the right to build constitutes one of the faculties inherent to property ownership. The comparison between these models reveals the first signs of change in Peru and underscores the need to consolidate such developments.

Contexto: La impresión en 3D es una tecnología en ascenso para distintas especialidades de la odontología, siendo una alternativa a la fabricación por sistemas CAD/CAM. Objetivo: Determinar los materiales para la impresión 3D por técnica aditiva, sus ventajas, desventajas y aplicaciones en odontología. Proceso de búsqueda de información: Se realizó una revisión de literatura, donde primero se procedió a una búsqueda en PubMed mediante los términos MeSH y se obtuvo 367 resultados que coinciden con el criterio de inclusión de revistas de los últimos diez años. Luego de ello, se filtraron los estudios transversales, metanálisis y revisión sistemática y se obtuvieron 10 artículos. CO2 is one of the basic components in the homeostasis of human body and is a result of cellular metabolism. Se presenta los resultados preliminares de la primera parte del trabajo relacionado con la obtención del Óxido de Tungsteno dopado con Litio para microbaterías. El material primario se obtuvo en el laboratorio de Físico-Química de la Universidad de Campinas (UNICAMP) – Brasil, en forma de película delgada dopada con Boro enriquecido usando la técnica de vacío “sputtering”. Posteriormente, las películas se irradiaron con neutrones térmicos, con la finalidad de transformar el B en Li. Se realizó la caracterización estructural usando técnica de difracción de rayos-X y FTIR y medición de las propiedades electroquímicas.
