In manufacturing processes, there are conditions that continually impact decision-making among when choosing among alternatives; the selection is usually influenced by critical aspects such as quality, productivity, costs and customer feedback, among others. This article analyzes different adhesives for the process of gluing parts for sports shoes in a company located in the city of Purisima del Rincon in Guanajuato, México. The analysis employs statistical engineering tools and an Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) methodology. The case studied deals with an issue with gluing parts. The glue currently employed is of good quality but has drawbacks such as its high cost and thickness, which leads to a time-consuming manual application, affecting productivity. In making these activities generates impact the environment concerning the flora, fauna, socio-economics, etc. That is why the Ministry of Environment evaluates the environmental impact by parameters such as size, nature, which must give the final result if it is viable or not to continue with the mining project. The process of evaluation of environmental impact can last for months, even years. This article proposes criteria for environmental impact assessment in the mining sector may serve to support decision making.

This qualitative study aimed to understand the meanings attributed to Palliative Care and its implications for the anticipatory mourning process, from the perspective of family caregivers. Participants were 14 family members of patients in Palliative Care. Participant observation and semi-structured interviews were carried out. The data were analyzed and organized based on the Grounded Theory, using the Atlas.ti 7.5 software. The results showed the meanings attributed to Palliative Care marked by the impact of the treatment proposal, by the emergence of feelings and experiences, and traversed by the specific care requirements, the treatment, and the decision making, generating repercussions in the caregiver’s life. The media-based communication between social movements and other actors is relevant to achieve their goals. This article addresses the dynamic and contentious aspects of the media-based communication generated by the Magallanes Social Movement and the Government of Chile. A quantitative analysis was made of 217 news and 499 quotations published during the events. The results indicate that the parties adopted differing communication strategies like making calls for action, talking positively about the own group, among others. Furthermore, the content of communications varied over time, but the strong relation between the communications issued and the occurrence of particular protest events suggests that while a communicational contest is certainly an interactive process, both camps do not just argue through the words, but also through the events that each camp organizes.

En ese contexto, se analizará en el desarrollo del presente artículo, si es válido la interposición de algún medio impugnatorio que nos permita que la decisión jurisdiccional que admite la prueba de oficio sea revisada por un tribunal y cuál es el medio impugnatorio idóneo para nuestros fines. El presente trabajo tuvo como objetivo general aumentar la productividad en la Empresa Segusa SAC-Trujillo mediante la propuesta de mejora en el área de Producción de calzado de cuero. Para llevar a cabo esta propuesta, primero, se desarrolló un diagnóstico del área dando como resultado las siguientes causas raíces: No se cuenta con estaciones de trabajo balanceadas, falta de estandarización y documentación de sus procesos, material desperdiciado en producción, áreas de trabajo desordenadas, falta de cultura de orden y limpieza por parte de los operarios. Dando una productividad de 0.87 par/hora-Hombre (616 pares diarios) y 0.03 par/ por cada sol invertido en materiales (1 par por S/.29.05 de inversión en materiales). Además de registrar un total de 684 paros no programados de máquinas y un tiempo total de reparaciones TTR de 9489 hrs, obteniendo una disponibilidad de 86.4%....

Today it seems as if each individual is responsible for choosing his/her mate. Historically, this process has been mainly regulated by culture, family and society, which make the rules and norms, and defines suitable behaviors in the mate selection process. This research aimed at constructing a scale to analyze if people consider themselves responsible for the choice of their partner and to what extent. A qualitative study using ATLAS.ti content analysis resulted in different theoretical factors. A second study sought to corroborate the theoretical factors using a principal component analysis, determining the following factors: Destiny-Predestination, Powerful Microcosm, and Internal Control factor, which explain 50.94% of the variance with 17 items.
