La investigación tuvo como objetivo establecer la relación entre las conductas alimentarias y el nivel de autoestima en adolescentes de una institución pública en el Callao. Se empleó una metodología descriptiva, correlacional y de corte transversal, lo que permitió detallar y caracterizar las conductas alimentarias y la autoestima en la muestra estudiada. La población fue evaluada mediante un censo a quienes se les aplicaron la prueba EAT–20 (Prueba de actitudes alimentarias) y el inventario de autoestima Coopersmith Stanley-IAFECS (1981). La importancia del estudio consistió en evaluar si la empresa tiene la capacidad para mantenerse operativa y estable en el largo plazo. Se empleó una metodología de tipo descriptivo, con un enfoque cuantitativo y diseño no experimental. This qualitative study aimed to understand the meanings attributed to Palliative Care and its implications for the anticipatory mourning process, from the perspective of family caregivers. Participants were 14 family members of patients in Palliative Care. Participant observation and semi-structured interviews were carried out. The data were analyzed and organized based on the Grounded Theory, using the Atlas.ti 7.5 software. The results showed the meanings attributed to Palliative Care marked by the impact of the treatment proposal, by the emergence of feelings and experiences, and traversed by the specific care requirements, the treatment, and the decision making, generating repercussions in the caregiver’s life.
