Forest volume modeling plays a fundamental role in forest inventory, biomass estimation, and the sustainable management of timber resources. In the Amazon region of Peru, native species such as Calycophyllum spruceanum and Cedrelinga cateniformis hold high ecological and commercial value, yet remain understudied in terms of volumetric estimation. This study aimed to develop and evaluate volumetric models for both species across three ecological zones—humid forest, very humid forest, and dry forest—representing the environmental diversity of the northeastern Peruvian Amazon. Os neologismos metafóricos têm sido comumente associados à função estilística, o que implica que a ocorrência de cargas metafóricas seria uma questão estritamente “lúdica” de inovação lexical. Tais conclusões foram baseadas em descobertas coletadas de corpora textuais, deixando inexplorada a presença de elementos cognitivos em contextos orais não planejados de enunciação. Para estudar a relação entre esses elementos e as funções comunicativas, foram selecionados seis podcasts chilenos de diferentes áreas temáticas a fim de obter um corpus neológico oral para estudar a presença de cargas metafóricas e, por sua vez, estudar as funções das unidades em profundidade por meio de uma adaptação do modelo de Llopart-Saumell (2016). Statistical competence is defined as the leader’s feature of character, which characterizes his willingness and ability to organize, to process and interpret information, needed to implement management processes. Statistical competence should be considered as a substructure of functional competence of the leader as it is shown in the article. The evaluation of indicators for the basic level of statistical competence for different categories of principles of educational institutions was carried out. Objetivo Determinar la efectividad y la seguridad a corto, mediano y largo plazo de LISWT en pacientes con disfunción eréctil no respondedores a inhibidores de iPDE5. Metodología Estudio clínico, cuasiexperimental de cohortes y revisión sistemática siguiendo los lineamientos de la colaboración Cochrane y las guías de escritura PRISMA. En el presente documento se analizan los factores que caracterizan las tasas de crecimiento que alcanzaron los países de ingresos medios altos y medios bajos en el año 2009 mediante la técnica estadística multivariante de análisis discriminante, para lo cual se decidió a priori establecer dos grupos en función de tasas de crecimiento positivas y negativas para poder aplicar esta técnica. Dando como resultado de esta técnica la función discriminante, la cual nos muestran los factoresrelevantes para su discriminación, estas son: el gasto público, el índice de justicia, la tasa de fertilidad y el índice de democracia.

This paper analyzes the information treatment of the Mapuche people in the newspaper El Mercurio during two periods. First, between 1950 and 1973 (twentieth century); and second, during the years 2010, 2013 and 2014, (21st century). To this end, a corpus of 340 journalistic texts has been selected, of which 147 correspond to the 20th century (1950-1970) and 193, to the 21st century (2010, 2013-2014). The analysis shows that most of the frames are linked to conflicts, criminal prosecutions and arson attacks; so that El Mercurio prioritizes connotations and negative events to inform about the Mapuche indigenous people.

Some dye-sensitized solar cells were prepared using TiO2 modified with CuO (TiO2-CuO) like a working electrode. P25 commercial powder and small amounts of CuO powder were used in preparing the modified coating. The coating was deposited following doctor Blade method, on a conductive substrate SnO2:F, which was previously deposited on a TiO2 blocking layer by spray pyrolysis technique. For sensitization of the coating, a ruthenium complex, cis-bis (isothiocyanate) bis (2,2'bipiridil-4,4'dicarboxilato) ruthenium (II) ammonium bistetrabutil, also known as N719, was used. In this research, it is presented the analysis of the metonymic processes that occur in the formation of the soccer phraseology, focusing on the player of this sport. The entries were extracted from the most representative Peruvian capital media forums. The phenomena involved in the construction of each metonymy are based on cognitive linguistics and pragmatics, since this second theoretical perspective motivates the explanation of the extralinguistic factors that contributed to its formation.
