The main purpose that guides the development of the current investigation was to establish if the thinking abilities are related to the self-regulated learning, in a sample of 284 students from the Education Faculty of a Public University of Lima. For that reason, a non-experimental design was used, of a correlational type. To the chosen sample were applied the Questionnaire of Thinking Abilities of Alberto Acevedo and Marcela Carrera, and the Questionnaire of Self-Regulation for learning of Juan Carlos Torre. These instruments had their levels of validity and reliability previously determinated through a pilot test, which showed that both of them fulfill both conditions. The article examines the relationship between cognitive activity and creation of feedback in learning. The study was conducted on 120 students of Baku State University. Experimental and control groups were selected in the research and carried out in two stages. During the research, modern teaching methods and other techniques were used to increase cognitive activity. A comparative analysis of the first and second stages showed that the relationship between increased cognitive activity and the feedback mechanism is bilateral. This research explores the manifestation of dual exceptionality, regarding self-image and the experiences students have had with classmates and teachers. The sample was comprised of four students ages 8 to 15 that exhibited ADHD with giftedness and ASD with giftedness. In-depth interviews were conducted with the students. Results showed that students who had a notion of their discrepancies were motivated towards learning, but became bored when tasks were not challenging. They also had good relationships with their teachers and peers. However, meaningful social interactions had a negative connotation for the gifted/ASD group. Implications for research and practice are discussed further.

El propósito fundamental que guía el desarrollo de la presente investigación fue establecer si las habilidades de pensamiento se vinculan con el aprendizaje autorregulado, en estudiantes de la Facultad de Educación de una Universidad pública de Lima, cuya muestra alcanzo los 284 sujetos. This study proposed the design of three brief scales coherent with and contributing to the pedagogical perspective of schoolteachers, aiming to enhance self-regulated learning and psychological well-being of students. With the participation of teachers and other professionals who provided feedback throughout the process, scales for school motivation (ME), frustration tolerance (TF), and school satisfaction (SE) were designed and validated among 1260 students from 7th to 12th grade (57.7% female, mean age M=14.9 years, SD=1.9) belonging to three educational institutions in northern Chile.
