The objective of this research was to determine the influence of a psychological intervention program for bullying rates in secondary school students, the type of research was applied with a quantitative approach, its pre-experimental design, as a population and sample is considered to be 20 First grade students, the technique used was the survey and as a tool a questionnaire of 25 articles was used whose application is to specifically know the level of the study variable, which could be applied collectively with the duration of 15 minutes. Likewise, it should be noted that in order to facilitate the understanding of the results of the analysis carried out the items that had the response: never, almost never, sometimes, almost always and always. As a main result, after applying the normality test and the Wilcoxon test it was found that the Sig (0.015) < p-value (0.05) thus rejecting H...

The deficit of reading comprehension is a problem that is evident in students from primary level and even up to higher level. The ESCOLE project proposes various strategies to improve the levels of reading comprehension (literal, inferential, and reflective) based on the recreation and dramatization of short Peruvian stories: Paco Yunque and El Niño de Along the Sky.This program develops an integrated intervention in coordination with all educational agents. Its purpose is to carry out activities that allow students to enhance reading skills that include all the levels required for comprehension. That is to say, it is intended to develop their capabilities in a comprehensive way so that they become competent in all academic areas.ESCOLE is aimed at students in the first year of secondary education; however, it can be appli...

Public Budgeting Program 068 (PP068 by its Spanish initials) is part of the National System for Disaster Risk Management financial strategy and is linked to disaster risk management processes—among them, the processes of Reactive Management (GR by its Spanish initials). It enables articulated interventions between entities from the three government levels to reduce the vulnerability of the population and their means of living. The study determined the relationship between PP068 and GR based on the budget allocation for the products and actions aimed at the preparation, response and rehabilitation processes. This means that the variables have a cause and effect relationship; this is to say, a considerable budget allocation in PP068 helps to put the preparation and response procedures from reactive management into operation, resulting in value creation in municipality interventions as a ...

Introduction: The complexity of health problems such as childhood cancer poses challenges in health care and in the evaluation of interventions. This situation is aggravated when policy makers and decision makers assume that a health system works in a delimited environment with defined rules. Addressing the problem of cancer in children in Colombia required the enactment of a law to contribute to the reduction of mortality from this cause. This study characterized its complex nature, evidenced the potential implications in its evaluation and proposes an evaluation scheme. Methods: Documentary research with related information available between the years 2010 and 2020. Bowen's guidelines for the analysis of the information were followed, the categories included were relevant actors, context, components, organizational levels involved and results. Results: The analysis of the problem made ...

Objective: To determine the influence of an educational intervention program to promote attitude changes towards physical activity and lifestyle improvement in medical technology students of a private university. Materials and methods: A quantitative, quasi-experimental, longitudinal, prospective study. The study sample included 94 students, divided into two groups: A (experimental group) and B (control group), which were created and designed by the author, and lasted 12 sessions in the Academic Semester 2016-II. Regarding the instruments used in the research, the Canopy test was used to measure the attitude towards physical activity; a 30-question questionnaire was applied to measure healthy lifestyles, resulting in a high-reliability value (Crombach's Alpha) of 0.95; and Student's t-test confirmed that there is a significant difference between pre-test and post-test averages. Results: ...

More than 45 years of IEP/TP research and a few focused on IEP/TP functions or roles. Yet, the quality of an IEP/TP relies on the functions that it fulfills to satisfy the needs of its different users (Petitdemange,1985). The Quebec Ministry of Education (MEQ, 2004) and the Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services within the U.S. Department of Education (in Eichler, 1999) explicitly identified and described six to seven IEP/TP functions. However, a literature review and practising environments highlighted a greater number of functions. The goal of this research is to identify the different functions that an IEP/TP should fulfill in regard to the different needs of its diverse users. With the use of pedagogical value analysis method (PVA), results show a synthesis of more than 700 functions organized in an IEP/TP Functional Specification Matrix (FSM). The IEP /TP FSM is use...

Lifestyle Medicine immersion programs consist of a residential internship that performs a multidisciplinary professional follow-up. Objective: To evaluate the effect of the residential lifestyle medicine program on risk factors for cardiovascular disease: weight, blood pressure and glycemia. Methods: Longitudinal, comparative study, with intervention of a Lifestyle Medicine Program. Retrospective data from 2019-2021 of patients who had completed the intervention for 14 days were used. This consisted of a comprehensive follow-up: medical, nutritional, psychological, physical and spiritual of the patients. The Cultural Diversity courses on Programn of Psychology should raise students’ awareness towards Others who tend to provoke negative emotions because of being different. The university courses and professional practices seem to respond to a particular culture while pretending to be universal in their postures. A qualitative study was conducted in which syllabuses of cultural diversity courses corresponding to different academic institutions from Puerto Rico, Europe and Latin America were examined. The content analysis revealed that the approach to the subject typically corresponds to the country’s idiosyncrasy, psychosocial circumstances and particular regulations as well as the intervention of organizations and accrediting agencies. It is discussed the inherent diversity to the psychology, even in their teaching as in its application.

The objective of this research is to conduct a systematic review on the effectiveness of self-administered interventions in sexual health. An analysis of peer-reviewed publications covering the period from 2013 to 2023 was carried out in four databases: PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, and Medline. A preliminary 693 articles were found; after the screening process, 17 articles met the inclusion criteria. The approaches and means implemented by some studies to address the prevention of STIs were to integrate mobile technology and the development of online applications, in which self-efficacy programs were generated to develop skills for the rejection of sexual risk behaviors, substance use, and increased STI/HIV testing, in addition to improved communication, feedback, increased knowledge, promotion of HIV testing, risk assessment, and connection to health services. It was found that the i...

This review compiles the information related to implementing research hotbeds as formative research strategies regarding higher university education. A systematic review-type study was designed. Methodologically, the databases Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO, Redalyc, MEDLINE (PubMed), ERIC and academic Google were investigated, using the terms: "Research hotbeds", "programs", "research skills" and "undergraduate student". Of the 235 sources initially searched, 22 references were analyzed (17 original articles and 5 theses). The information was analyzed according to the categories of place of publication, objectives, methods and results found. Studies were found with the qualitative approach (68.2%), others the quantitative approach (27.3%) and others a mixed approach (4.5%). Implementing a seedbed has a positive influence on the enhancement of research capabilities, achieving greater mot...
