The article presents qualitative research on territorial citizenship in the neighborhoods of Santa Isabel and El Independiente, in the district of El Agustino, Lima. It analyzes how the Agustibarrio Strategy, specifically the actions of women in community kitchens, exemplify rooted territorial citizenship driven by local knowledge and collaboration among local actors. Furthermore, it highlights how their community participation becomes a form of resistance in the face of adversity, emphasizing the importance of social support networks in daily activities to combat hunger during the Covid-19 pandemic. The document is organized into five sections: an introduction where the objectives and conceptual framework that accompanies the research analysis are set out; a section that describes the methodology carried out; then the results and the analysis itself; and finally, the conclusions.

El objetivo de este trabajo de investigación fue el propósito de esta investigación fue determinar la relación entre las estrategias de lectura en línea y el nivel de comprensión de lectura en inglés de alumnos de quinto grado de secundaria del colegio Ricardo Palma, distrito de Ate, Lima. Objective: To describe suicide mortality and its behavioral characteristics in Lima, Peru during the period 2017 - 2022. Methods: This was a descriptive observational study on suicide mortality and its behavioral characteristics found in Lima and its districts during the period 2017 - 2022. The sociodemographic characteristics and methods of suicide for the period 2017 - 2022 were described. Then, age-standardized mortality rates were estimated for Lima and its districts for each year and for the period 2017 - 2021. Results: There were 559 deaths by suicide during 2017 - 2022 in Lima with a ratio male/female of 2.6 and median age of 37. 68,78% were single, 44,54% had secondary education, 60,82% occurred at home with hanging being the main method of suicide with 70,98%. In this paper, the inventory of vascular plants of high mountains (altitudes of 4000-4810 m) from northeast Oyon district, Lima, Peru is presented. Specimens were collected during March to May 2014 and 2015 and September to November 2015. 47 families, 112 genera and 181 species are reported, of which 94 were the first record for Lima region. For each species are given collector names, collect number and elevation. New local botanical inventories are needed for better evaluating the diversity, species distribution patterns and endemism in the high Andean vegetation.

The aim of this study was to estimate and characterize the stray dog population in Los Olivos district, Lima, during the period November - December 2012. Eight of the 34 areas that comprise the district according the map of Los Olivos Municipality were selected. The selection of the areas was at random; dog population counting and calculations were based on the criteria outlined in the guide of the World Society for the Protection of Animals entitled «Recensusing roaming dog populations: guidelines on methodology». Three consecutive sampling were performed at daytime and evening hours in each area. The average of the three measurements was used for statistical calculations. There was an average of 332 stray dogs at daytime and 217 stray dogs at evening; males and bigger dogs were observed in higher number. Most of the dogs showed low body condition score. OBJECTIVE: To determine the correlation between mortality due to COVID-19 and incidence of poverty and district human development index (HDI) in the department of Lima. METHODOLOGY: An observational, ecological, correlational study. The population were patients who died from COVID-19 in Lima Metropolitana. We included all patients reported dead in the open data base of the Ministerio de Salud. The dependent variable was mortality due to COVID-19, calculated by dividing the number of deaths by the total district population, and the independent variables were the incidence of poverty and HDI. The study aimed to determine the serological frequency of Ehrlichia canis in canine patients in the northern area of Metropolitan Lima, Peru. Data was obtained from a clinical analysis laboratory, which receives samples from veterinary clinics of the area. Records with analyses against E. canis during the 2014-2016 period were taken, as well as those with blood count analysis. The samples were analysed with a commercial kit specific for E. canis. The serological frequency of E. canis and the association between the serological results with the variables sex, age and breed type were evaluated. A frequency of 59.4% (723/1216) of ehrlichiosis positive canines was found. A significant association of ehrlichiosis was found for patients older than 2 years and for crossbreds. The Monument to Micaela Bastidas (Monumento a Micaela Bastidas), despite its peripheral locationwithin Cercado de Lima district, is currently part of the public sculpture works. It was a strictly municipal project, developed during the first Revolutionary Government of the Armed Forces (1968-1975), a period of ideolo-gical exaltation, where the image of Túpac Amaru II was adopted as a symbol of national vindication and the image of Micaela Bastidas was reduced to a heroine mother, with no known face. Therefore, in this article we will review the discursive rediscovery María Roqué Barriach projected in the monument of the heroine, as a symbolic instrument of female struggle and freedom. She sought to project this, from her position as the only female councilor of the municipality of Lima, representative of the National Liberation Front.

The article is part of a study carried out during the year 2013 in the urbanizations of Salamanca, district of Ate in the city of Lima. The objective is to understand the placement and permanency of gates in the streets and public spaces of these urbanizations. To this end, we sought to start from the controversies, which included gate-related issues, generated in the associations between the actors in order to describe the momentary stability of gated streets and public spaces. Finally, this description will allow us to incorporate, through a symmetrical perspective, other actors, agencies and groups with whom it is necessary to sit down, discuss and dialogue searching for a better coexistence.

This research will address air pollution, a severe problem in all world cities, because it negatively affects people's health and deteriorates the ecosystem. NO2 is a gas linked to acid rain formation and various reactions with greenhouse gases. Meteorological variables influence the behavior of tropospheric NO2 concentration. During the period of confinement due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the concentration levels of pollutants dropped abruptly, which meant relief for the ecosystem. The application of Time Series models allows us to graphically identify the concentration of contaminants in various areas and make accurate forecasts to mitigate environmental problems in the future. The objective of the study was to determine the demographic indices, and to estimate the population of domestic cats (Felis catus) kept at home in the district of Jesús María, Lima, Peru, during the month of June 2024. To this end, a housing survey was planned and conducted to identify the demographic characteristics of cats (age, sex, breed, reproductive capacity, reproductive control, and life expectancy.) In addition, the human-cat ratio was calculated for the nine areas of the district, using blocks as the primary sampling unit (in the case of apartment buildings, each one was considered a block).
