This paper is part of a bigger research that aims to understand how professional education delivered through Project-Based Learning (PBL) affects self-authorship development on undergraduate students. This part of the project aims to evaluate self-authorship development of undergraduate students enrolled on PBL during four to five years. The method used was qualitative, transversal, with biographical-narrative approach. In deep interviews were the instrument for data construction. This article reflects on connectivism as a pedagogical approach for the development of learning processes that can be generated from information and communication technologies applied to education. It is presented as a pedagogical alternative that has gone through a series of epistemological debates about its theoretical character and pedagogical value to transform traditional educational practices. Despite the fact that Artificial Intelligence (AI) holds the promise of improving education in Peru, its implementation presents challenges that must be approached with care to ensure ethical benefits. In the Peruvian context, AI is still in the process of adaptation, and its adoption could have negative effects on secondary education, as traditional methods foster critical thinking. A literature review supports the notion that AI may not adequately contribute to students' critical thinking. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on the development of digital competencies among university students. The research employed a quantitative approach with a descriptive–correlational level, using a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The population consisted of students enrolled in the 2024-II semester at the National University Toribio Rodríguez de Mendoza of Amazonas (UNTRM), with a sample of 400 participants selected through non-probability sampling. Objective: To adapt, validate and evaluate the factorial invariance of a scale that assess the quality of virtual courses (QVC) among health sciences students (HSS). Methods: Cross-sectional study developed with virtual surveys to HSS to assess the QVC of the 2020 academic year, as well as sociodemographic and educational characteristics. Content-based validity was estimated with VAiken. The article is based on field research conducted by the authorsamong Galibi-Marworno people from Uaçá region, at northern state of Amapa, Brazil. The objective is to present some aspects of their pedagogy, which is founded on the importance of freedom and autonomy for an accurate learning and the production of healthy bodies, focusing on nonverbal aspects of learning, the creativity of imitation and the children agency involved in those processes. The article presents the Galibi-Marworno’s ideas about childhood and child development and their strategies in the transmission of knowledge, contextualizing them in relation to the history and organization of the people. This description of the Galibi-Marworno’s learning processes aims to contribute to a more respectful schooling process, as required by Brazilian law.
