Blockchain technology is expected to change the way in which the exchange of goods and services is developed, the management of conflicts, and will substantially influence the process of state modernisation. The current research aims to be a simple organisational and theoretical guide that provides a strategy for the process of conflict management in the state sphere. This is based on the imperative need to modernise the current public system, based on the division of powers. This article fundamentally emphasises three concordant ideas: first, that blockchain technology helps to automate certain tasks, thus facilitating access to a decentralised space independent of a central control authority. It democratises and makes management and decision-making processes transparent, allowing all those involved to be examined on an equal footing, and third, it aims to maintain the necessary manual ...

Business sustainability has become a global imperative in response to the environmental, social, and economic challenges facing our world. In this context, the measurement and evaluation of business sustainability have become crucial to guide the actions of organizations towards more responsible and sustainable practices. However, the lack of specific measurement instruments for specific regional contexts may limit the ability of companies to evaluate and improve their sustainability performance. In this paper, we present the design of a business sustainability measurement method adapted to the context of Tarma, Peru. Tarma, a region located in the heart of the Peruvian Andes, is characterized by its cultural, environmental, and economic diversity, making it a unique context to address business sustainability. This article proposes a method for measuring business sustainability based on ...

In the competition of the lighting market, LED technology has stood out for excellent characteristics, one of which is the possibility of dimming, compared to other technologies. The dimming capacity allows to find the comfort zone with respect to two parameters, illuminance and correlated colour temperature (CCT). The present work provides a methodology to find comfort with respect to two variables, the level of illumination and the CCT. A controller with a simple structure, supported by Arduino, is proposed to control the above-mentioned variables of LEDs. The LEDs are located on a tape attached to a heat sink. In addition, the use of a light box as an environment for analysis is proposed. The design of this cubicle is based on literature. The controller has the possibility to regulate 12 different channels and the linearity between the PWM output and the illuminance was verified. The ...

The study of the complex ultracellular processes of nucleic acids is a subject debated as a scientific argument in favor of Intelligent Design (ID). The objective of this work was to analyze some molecular processes of the nucleic acids that suggest the confirmation of the ID theory, through the technique of documentary content analysis. First, the chemical structure of DNA and the combination of nitrogenous bases reflects that the genetic information of each created being is an original mixture of nitrogenous bases that makes each individual unique in the history of the world. Secondly, by studying the processes of DNA replication and repair, it is observed that each enzyme fulfills its function in a coordinated and organized manner avoiding the occurrence of errors and, should this occur, the cell has had very fine repair mechanisms. that correct these alterations in the best possible ...

The objective of the research was to demonstrate that evidence-based learning as a didactic strategy influences the production of functional texts in university students. For this, the following methodology was used: quantitative approach, experimental level, quasi-experimental design. For data collection, the observation and survey technique was used: the instrument used was the rubric —differential semantic scale—, and knowledge test —measures the intellectual part—. To express the data, visual representations, tables and figures were used, obtained through the SPSS v.26 software. The statistical results allowed us to test the hypothesis through the Mann-Whitney U, indicating that the experimental group presents a better result in relation to the control group. In conclusion, evidence-based learning is an advantage for the development of the production of functional texts.

The Strategic Research Plan (PEI) is an essential tool, which defines roles and sets of actions that any Academic Institution must carry out. One of the priorities for academic organizations and especially for universities, is the formation of human capital. That training must develop the research and innovation capabilities of its graduates, to create, generate ventures, transfer and apply new knowledge. Various techniques can be used to prepare the PEI; however, Quality Function Deployment (QFD) includes the voice of the customer and is very effective for developing a PEI. With the use of the QFD it was obtained: the lines of investigation, the processes of planning, design, monitoring and control based on the requirements of CONCYTEC (the voice of the client). Finally, a PEI aligned with the CONCYTEC requirements is justified, thus increasing the possibilities of being able to obtain ...

This paper is concerned with the design of observers for a class of one-dimensional multi-state transport-reaction systems considering distributed in-domain measurements over the spatial domain. A design based on the Lyapunov method is proposed for the stabilization of the estimation error dynamics. The approach uses positive definite matrices to parameterize a class of Lyapunov functionals that are positive in the Lebesgue space of integrable square functions. Thus, the stability conditions can be expressed as a set of LMI constraints which can be solved numerically using sum of squares (SOS) and standard semi-definite programming (SDP) tools. In order to evaluate the proposed methodology, a state observer is designed to estimate the variables of a nonisothermal tubular reactor model. Numerical simulations are presented to demonstrate the potentials of the proposed observer.

This study investigated consumers' perceptions of adding bee pollen to bread. An attitude questionnaire composed of 48 statements related to "general health," "light products," "natural products," "salty products," "food as a reward," "pleasure," and "food neophobia" was answered by the participants, who indicated their level of agreement with each statement according to a 5-point Likert scale, ranging from (1) "totally disagree" to (5) "totally agree." A check-all-that-apply (CATA) questionnaire was also employed to characterize 12 visual stimuli. The creation of stimuli was carried out using a factorial design, resulting in 12 images of bread. Three clusters of consumers were identified, each associating positive attributes with stimuli containing bee pollen, regardless of the health claim, while negative attributes were associated with stimuli without added pollen. The main positive d...

A novel design procedure for tuned mass dampers in isolated structures is presented. The proposed optimization method is specifically developed to control base displacements or to solve the large isolator displacement problem in this type of structures under earthquakes. Therefore, it is based on a displacement transmissibility function, T, a particular case of the general transmissibility concept, which comes from Vibration Isolation. Three contributions are: 1) application of new seismic displacement narrowbandness, 2) simpler relative transmissibility function, and 3) compound design of isolation plus tuned mass damper. A standard isolated model is used to show that the base displacement can be controlled at levels in the proximity of the ground motion (T ≈ 1), which results in a positive comparison with previous isolation plus tuned mass damper solutions; this is one of the main co...
