At present diverse illnesses exist between soft, mortal and silent, in which some studies of the biomedical try to minimize and/or help to fight these illnesses. Due to this, in this paper presents a processing and comparison system of brainwaves, the patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, they are not able to move and/or use any of their body extremities so could communicate their basics needs by the brainwaves produced by their brains, taking apart the communication by the flickers, showing a more reliable and exact alternative. The following work consists of the design of a Wireless System able to show the brainwaves produced by the patient with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and also process and compare to get the meaning of each of them identifying the basics needs; moreover, it will benefit the family because it's going to exist a nonverbal communication with the patient.

Currently, having a sonar of echolocation in an electronic lab is complicated due to the high cost of its implementation, which is why it is proposed that the implementation of a basic sonar, using agile technologies such as the Arduino, will be used to implement this paper. Also it has a servomotor and an ultrasonic sensor, which is responsible for detecting the distance where the objects are located. The Arduino will be in charge of controlling the servomotor movements which have to be between 15 and 165 degrees. In addition, it will send the information through the serial port to a computer, in which the data will be processed and displayed using the Processing software.

This paper studies the problems of the traditional food industry in Peruvian social programs, and how the Blockchain would serve as a solution that includes the immutable registration of information allowing the tracking of food by each responsible party in the process. It was observed that millions of people become ill or die from eating infected, spoiled, or intoxicated food and that these problems are directly linked to the registration and communication areas of the participants in the supply chain. Nowadays spectrometers are useful in many applications such as bio-medical technology among other industrial fields. State of the art low-cost spectrometers are usually equipped with linear photoelectric array detectors (line detectors). This thesis covers part of the software development for a low-cost multichannel spectrometer using a matrix detector instead of a linear array detector. The image acquisition including an automatic integration time optimizer was implemented. Furthermore, algorithms for data extraction and calibration were developed. Finally, the multi-channel-system with the new software was compared with a high-resolution spectrometer and the results were discussed.

The present research work was presented in the context of the deficit problematic in the inventory process of public school in Peru. The main objective is for public schools to use ICTs to improve this process. The methodology used for the development of the research work is Scrum, since it allows the application model to be carried out in an agile and organized manner. The different needs that each stage of the methodology presented were solved by the Balsamiq Mockups tool. In the results we can appreciate that implementing this web system offers speed and security to the management of the inventory of the public schools, since it is necessary to have a control of all the goods in real time. The present research was submitted as a potential solution to the continuous upgrading demands that companies are currently experiencing. Using the Scrum methodology, it has been possible to streamline the project of designing a sales website that allows managing the daily sales data in a company in Puente Piedra, Lima; as well as the stock of products and customer information. The design of the prototype was successfully executed through Balsamiq Mockups, a tool that served in the creation of the prototypes of the web system. The results presented in this research may be useful for those entrepreneurs who need the design of web sites like ours for their proper implementation.

This article analyzes the differences in the design and implementation of electronic personal surveillance (EPS) policies in Peru and Colombia, from their first attempts in 2007 to date. Using a comparative political analysis approach, it explores the factors that explain the gap in outcomes, despite the adoption of similar policies. The article uses the theory of policy transfer as a differentiating element: Colombia implemented its policy progressively, relying on pilot projects and making adjustments to the original design according to the results. Peru, on the other hand, in trying to replicate Colombia's initial success, opted for a national implementation without pilot stages, which resulted in a much more limited impact. Mixed martial arts (MMA) has always been surrounded by controversy due to the unusual muscle development of its participants, so it is crucial to know the strategies that have been implemented to reduce doping cases. The main purpose of this paper is to describe the various cases of doping detected by USADA in UFC MMA participants. In addition, strategies that are being developed to reduce cases of positive doping are proposed. From the UFC USADA database, doping cases were extracted, obtaining the substance or substances involved; the formula, physiological effect and the athletes involved; the dates of the sampling; if it was out of competition or in-competition and the sanction time. The leaching of valuable metals from mineral ores is the basis of several extractive economies around the world, but the strategies employed often need to rely on dangerous compounds such as cyanides. Due to the complex nature of most ores, leaching processes are slow and have a low efficiency in noble metal extraction, which is usually improved by fine-milling the mineral. In this manuscript, we consider this strategy, demonstrating that it may increase the amount of silver leaching, but at the expense of a higher consumption of cyanide, which renders the process inefficient (only 2% of consumed cyanide is employed to complex silver). Recently, Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabling technologies have been associated with great sources of competitive advantage. Among such technologies, current Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is considered one of the most promising Artificial Intelligence (AI) implementation strategies. On one hand, we argue that the so far limited academic research on the literature sees RPA as an important tool at the tactical and operational levels. On the other hand, the literature has not properly considered the strategic contribution of RPA in terms of competitive advantages.
