Hiring processes are intended to recruit and retain ideal candidates; those who would generate competitive value in an organization. In an increasingly global context, the challenge is often costly, inefficient, and complex. Even though artificial intelligence already solves specific tasks with greater speed, precision, and efficiency in various fields, and in different companies, in the area of human resources the desirability of the use of data science continues to be debated. Disruptive technologies and their impact on journalism and communication force us to assume challenges in learning new techniques for data and information processing. Interdisciplinary knowledge is evident in the teaching of new professional profiles. Data journalism is an example of this, so the immersion into a data culture must be preceded by awareness in the learning of news applications, algorithms or the treatment of Big Data, elements that configure new paradigms among journalists of the media on the Internet. With the revision of texts, direct observation of selected applications and case study, some conclusions are established that contain a growing demand in the knowledge of new techniques. The results show the use of technological resources and the proposal of changes in the curricula of the communication faculties.

Cocoa in grain is a tropical fruit considered as a heritage in Ecuador and constitutes 60% of the premium quality in chocolates worldwide, has sensory characteristics unmatched by other producing countries. Manual drying and selection activities contain many occupational hazards, affecting the safety and well-being of the people involved in these tasks, with the ergonomic risk of an intolerable level requiring immediate intervention. This research provides safe automated mechanisms for operations through internationally validated methodologies, without affecting the sensory characteristics.

This paper focuses on sustainable public procurements that seek to minimize negative environmental impacts and improve positive social impacts, which require significant changes within the market reality of a country. In the case of Peru, legislation establishes the requirement that sustainable criteria be integrated into public procurement suited to the needs for the procurement of goods and services. The incorporation of morphometric data into cladistic analyses poses methodological challenges, particularly in handling continuous characters and landmark configurations in matrices that include multiple individuals per taxon. Mine equipment selection is a complex task due to numerous technical, geometrical and economical variables involved. The variety of equipment manufacturers and agents carrying different models, types and sizes make the selection procedure even more complex. The mine planner does not have a tool to correctly select the equipment or fl eet for a project. Simulation fi lls the gap and contributes to this goal. On the one hand, the so-called traditional methods, focusing on process control, with rigorous monitoring of the activities involved in them. On the other hand, agile methods, focusing on human factors in collaboration and customer participation in the development process and a relentless increase in software with very short iterations. The article presents a proposal, in the midst of this debate, to select a software development methodology.

The objective was to apply RMySQL, dplyr and graphing functions of the database to the processes of admission at the Central Admission Commission at the National University of the Altiplano. The source code of the functions that return data.frames of the observations of the database and functions was implemented to generate the graphs of dynamic form such as ggplot and barplot; summarise, select, group_by, merge, arrange, unique and others of project R were used.
