This article presents a program in C++ which defines a class of polynomial name in order to implement a data abstract type (TAD), a polynomial through a class that performs polynomials arithmetic with operations such as addition, the product of a constant by a polynomial, the product of a monomial by a polynomial and a polynomial derived. The program code is presented, and its details, features and limitations are discussed. Implementation is done in the Dev C++ 4.1 compilator; a GNU compilator with GPL licence.

This paper aims to show the various types of data that contain in an intrinsically way fuzzy or imperfect data that are presented in the real world. A form of implementation is described that allows extending the capabilities of a database by using layers levels, emphasizing in the concept of inheritance. What is described is illustrated by an example applied to the Peruvian reality, which is shown with a certain level of detail.

Objectives: To assess the cortical bone thickness of incisors when proclined and normo-positioned according to skeletal Class I and Class II malocclusions. Material and Methods: This study was descriptive, cross-sectional and observational. The study population consisted of 1220 pre-orthodontic treatment CBCT (Cone Beam Computed Tomography) scans from the archive of the Autonomous University of Nayarit between 2015–2023. The final sample included 76 scans. Inclusion criteria were as follows: diagnostic records containing CBCT scans of patients aged 12–40 years with no prior orthodontic treatment or anterior dental crowding. Incisor positioning was standardized for CBCT measurements. Data recording and descriptive statistics were performed using Microsoft Excel. Student’s t-tests were conducted using StatCalc software. Results: In the maxilla, both in Class I and II, when the inciso...

Language identification is an elemental task in natural language processing, where corpus-based methods reign the state-of-the-art results in multi-lingual setups. However, there is a need to extend this application to other scenarios with scarce data and multiple classes to face, analyzing which of the most well-known methods is the best fit. In this way, Peru offers a great challenge as a multi-cultural and linguistic country. Therefore, this study focuses in three steps: (1) to build from scratch a digital annotated corpus for 49 Peruvian indigenous languages and dialects, (2) to fit both standard and deep learning approaches for language identification, and (3) to statistically compare the results obtained. The standard model outperforms the deep learning one as it was expected, with 95.9% in average precision, and both corpus and model will be advantageous inputs for more complex ta...

The article presents a Parser class in Java to evaluate algebraic expressions using fundamental algorithms for the construction of compilers, passing from the conversion of expressions from infix to postfix, the evaluation of postfix expressions, the evaluation for precedence of operators, parser algorithms of precedence and construction algorithm of precedence functions. The goal of the article is to write a lexical analyser in a conventional language of systems programming, using the possibilities of input and output of Java language in order to read expressions to evaluate from the input, to process them and to send the results to the output.

Objective. To determine the level of burnout syndrome presented by university teachers during virtual classes. Methods. A simple descriptive design was used, the burnout syndrome was determined based on three dimensions: emotional fatigue, depersonalization and personal fulfillment. The population was made up of all the teachers of Universidad de Huánuco, 531 teachers during the 2020-II period. The instrument for collecting these data was based on the transparency section of the official website of Universidad de Huánuco. The sample was determined probabilistically by strata, resulting in a total of 223 teachers. Statistics used were descriptive, where summary measures were considered. Results. Regarding the emotional fatigue dimension, it was obtained that 46.3% of teachers presented low emotional fatigue and only 35.2% of teachers obtained a high level of emotional fatigue, in relati...

The study presented aims to promote and understand the agent commitment of students, future educators, in initial education through an expanded educational experience in order to proactively rethink their professional role. Participated 41 students from the Faculty and the Bachelor of Initial Education, who were studying the third year of the career at the National University of Río Cuarto, Argentina. Under an interpretive qualitative design, an expansive educational experience was designed so that students could proactively rethink their professional role from their agencies, based on an activity that proposed going to the territory, specifically, walking the city, in search of art to teach. Data were collected in three moments, during the investigation almost finished and already concluded. The results show that students develop proactive actions and emotions that motivate rethinking ...

Objective: To compare the depth of microfiltration in resin restorations in Class I cavities, varying the restoration method and the adhesive system. Material and Methods: an ex vivo experimental study was carried out, in which 128 molars without morphological alterations in the coronary structure were included, in which cavities were carved in the occlusal face in a standardized way (4x4x3mm) and later randomly distributed in two groups according to the adhesive system applied (Group I, acid etching prior to the adhesive; Group II, self-etchingadhesive), each Group being subdivided into two subgroups according to the restoration method, A: composite resin; B: Flowable resin base, composite resin restoration and surface sealer. All trial bodies were sealed at the apex and on the entire external surface with two layers of nail polish up to 1 mm from the tooth-restoration interface, thermo...

This article displays the main foundations and findings of a research on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in legal English courses at Universidad Santo Tomás in Villavicencio (Colombia), intended to provide an answer to the following question: What is the impact of fostering Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) within legal English classes? The study was a descriptive longitudinal mixed methods approach research developed over two years with 56 law students with an age range between 21 and 23 years that delved into three issues, namely, students’ perceptions concerning legal English classes, after two years of participating in lessons designed under Bloom’s taxonomy; students’ insights regarding HOTS and their influence on learning a foreign language and on their future performance as lawyers, and the identification and analysis of strengths and weaknesses of the methodology imp...

One worked with school of room and recruit of secondary, coming from low middle class of four educational centers belonging to the cone this and north to analyze the characteristics of identity in their levels: national, generational, regional, of gender, relative and personnel. For the gathering of the data an instrument was elaborated based on the inventory of identity of Zavalloni that establishes the relationship between the subjective science and the attributes social objectives, the answers of the fellows they were coded with its respective frequencies and classified in function of its positive orientation, negative or neuter, finally the positive answers and negatives were classified in five categories: instrumental, affective, social, moral and polítical. The results indicated the predominant presence of the instrumental answers and the positive orientation of the answers in eac...

The purpose of the research was to demonstrate how the application of the Inverted Class pedagogical model (Flipped Classroom) improves learning in English grammar proficiency in students of the Working Adult program, UPN, Lima-2018. The type of research was applied, scientific method and quasi-experimental method of explanatory level. The design was quasi-experimental with two equivalent groups and quantitative approach measurement. The sample consisted of 40 students of the program. The data collection technique was the evaluation for both groups a pretest and posttest test with their checklist instrument. A survey was applied to the students of the experimental group, observation sheet of learning sessions. The hypothesis was tested using the Student's T statistic for independent samples, using the SPSS version 24 program, with 5% margin of error, with P-value = 0 less than 0.05 signi...
