It is interesting to notice that authors such as Théry (1985), le Gall and Marin (1993) and le Gall (1996) who study reconstituted families have not dealt with all of the possible consequences of the idea of family constellation, specially the one which states that the concept of family should include more than just residency. The relationship between executive functions (EF), creative personality, and academic performance in Argentine university students was examined. A total of 248 students (M = 22.97 years, SD = 4.43) from various Argentine provinces participated. The Adult Executive Functioning Inventory (ADEXI), the Cognitive Flexibility Scale, the Creative Behavior Scale (ECC), and the Creative Personality Scale (EPC) were used, along with academic performance data and sociodemographic information. Data were collected online through Google Forms and analyzed using Spearman correlations and mediation analysis with robust Maximum Likelihood estimator and Bootstrap. Recent studies report a high prevalence of psychotic and substance use disorders sharing common brain mechanisms that may affect cognitive performance, response to treatment, the ability to commit to it and, consequently, increase the risk of relapse. Objective: To compare cognitive performance in patients with alcoholism and schizophrenia. Material and Methods: Observational study designed to evaluated 18 patients with schizophrenia and 32 with mental disorders due to alcohol consumption. Aims. This study aimed to understand the characteristics associated with academic procrastination in engineering students at a private university in Lima. The theoretical bases were Barkley’s Theory of Executive Functions and Bandura’s Theory of Self-Efficacy. Method. A qualitative method combined with a phenomenological design was used to understand the research topic from the participant’s point of view. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with ten students who attended individual coaching sessions and tended to have low grades and procrastinate. Background: Although child maltreatment (CM) has been linked to health problems and poor psychosocial functioning, not all individuals exposed to CM develop or experience negative consequences later in life. It compares the solutions accepted in Italian law (European legal latinity), and those of two Latin American legal systems, Colombia, and Peru.
