Introducción: El cáncer de mama en el Perú presenta una tasa de mortalidad anual del 15,4% y una incidencia del 23,8%; aproximadamente el 41,5% de las mujeres afectadas desarrollan linfedema, lo que compromete su calidad de vida. Aunque existe un tratamiento estándar, se dispone de escasa información sobre el efecto combinado de mangas de compresión y ejercicios de resistencia en el manejo del linfedema, lo que justifica la realización de esta investigación. La siguiente implementación de ahorro energético tiene como propósito optimizar el funcionamiento de la bomba CPH (Condensate Preheater) de acuerdo a la temperatura optima de ingreso al precalentador del HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generators) de la Central Térmica de Ciclo Combinado Kallpa de 870 MW ubicada en el distrito de Chilca, Lima – Perú; esto a fin de reducir el Consumo de Energía Auxiliares de la Central. Maintaining the stability of bipedal walking remains a major challenge in humanoid robotics, primarily due to the large number of hyperparameters involved and the need to adapt to dynamic environments and external disturbances. Traditional methods for determining these hyperparameters, such as heuristic approaches, are often time- consuming and potentially suboptimal. In this thesis, we present an integrated approach combining advanced control and reinforcement learning techniques to improve the stability of bipedal walking, particularly in the face of ground disturbances and speed variations. Ramsay Hunt syndrome (RHS) is a rare neurological complication of varicella-zoster virus infection, characterized by peripheral facial paralysis, otalgia, and auricular vesicular lesions. We report the case of a 31-year-old woman presenting with typical symptoms of the syndrome, clinically diagnosed at the General Hospital of Benguela, Angola, in a resource-limited setting. Treatment with acyclovir, prednisone, and supportive measures led to good functional recovery. This case highlights the importance of clinical recognition of RHS in regions with limited access to complementary tests, reinforcing the need for improved diagnostic surveillance and medical training. The aim of the present work was to optimize the sensorial and technological features of ice cream. The experimental work was performed in two stages: 1) optimization of lactose enzymatic hydrolysis, and 2) optimization of the process and product. For the first stage a complete factorial design was developed, optimized using both response surface and the steepest ascent method. In the second stage a mixture design was performed, combining the process variables. The product with the best sensorial acceptance, high yield and low cost was selected. The acceptance of the product was developed by an untrained taster’s panel. As a main result the sensorial and technological features of the final product were improved, establishing the optimum parameters for its elaboration.

Se intenta determinar si existen diferencias significativas en la riqueza léxica en función del grado escolar y de el tipo de centro educativo, estatal o particular. Con una muestra de 2956 estudiantes a los que se evaluó con la Prueba de Riqueza y de Precisión Léxica construida por André Rey (1962). Se analizaron los datos mediante el análisis factorial de varianza para el efecto individual y combinado y el Análisis de Varianza de un Factor para diseño multigrupo. Se concluye que se confirman ambas hipótesis. Es decir que tanto el colegio de procedencia como el grado de estudios causan diferencias significativas.

It is tried to determine if significant differences exist in the lexical wealth in function of the school grade and of the type of educational, state center or matter. With a sample of 2956 students to those that it was evaluated with the Test of Wealth and of Lexical Precision built by André King (1962). The data were analyzed by means of the factorial analysis of variance for the individual effect and cocktail and the Analysis of Variance of a Factor for design multigroup. You concludes that both hypotheses are confirmed. That is to say that so much the origin school like the grade of studies cause significant differences.

Objetivo: Determinar los factores pronósticos de mortalidad, estancia hospitalaria prolongada y deterioro funcional en adultos mayores hospitalizados en el Departamento de Medicina Interna del Hospital Nacional Hipólito Unanue. El objetivo de esta investigación fue diseñar e implementar un sistema embebido utilizando Python para restringir el riesgo de incendio por sobre amperaje en autobuses de Metalval, Trujillo. Se integraron módulos tecnológicos como el transductor de corriente, sensores de temperatura, relés de activación y un módulo de comunicación 4G, controlados por una Raspberry Pi 4.
