Los gases de efecto invernadero, entre ellos el CO2 generan una serie de cambios climáticos debido a la permanencia de este en la atmosfera por largos periodos de tiempo; de ese modo, la vegetación juega un rol fundamental en la captura de carbono. El presente estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la influencia del material particulado sedimentable en el secuestro de carbono en la vegetación de la ciudad de Lima. La metodología considera seis etapas: planificación de gabinete, implementación de las parcelas de muestreo, evaluación de la contaminación atmosférica por material particulado sedimentable (MPS) empleando a la vegetación como bio-indicador, determinación del estado fisiológico de la vegetación arbórea, determinación de la captura de carbono en vegetación (Cv) y estimación de stocks de carbono. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue elaborar unas galletas de chocolate enriquecidas con una mezcla de bazo de res y sangre de pollo, para prevenir la anemia. El bazo de res y sangre de pollo fueron secados a temperaturas entre 50 ° C-60 ° C, hasta alcanzar una humedad del 2,6%. Se obtuvieron tres formulaciones (F1, F2 y F3), donde la F1 (código 123) contenía 5 g: 15 g; F2 (código 567) 15 g: 5 g y F3 (código 248) con 10 g y 10 g, de harina de sangre de pollo y bazo de res respectivamente, con un enriquecimiento total del 13,1%.
