The research objective was to establish the relationship that exists between family functioning and the levels of learning achievement of the students of the Alipio Ponce Vásquez Educational Institution in Puerto Maldonado. The research approach was quantitative, the design was non-experimental and the descriptive type was cross-sectional correlational. The population was made up of all the fifth and sixth grade students of the primary level of the Alipio Ponce Vásquez Educational Institution and a sample of 96 students was used, which was obtained by means of a probability sampling. In Mexico, a high percentage of young people experience symptoms of generalized anxiety, which are associated with difficulties in executive functions (EF). However, previous studies have shown inconsistent results, as they often rely solely on either objective or subjective measures. Therefore, this study focused on analyzing the relationship between generalized anxiety and EF using both a neuropsychological battery and a self-report questionnaire, in order to provide a more comprehensive understanding of cognitive functioning in adolescents. OBJECTIVE: The absence of an universal classification for hyperthyroidisms (HT), give rise to inadequate interpretation of series and trials, and prevents decision making. We offer a tentative classification based on gammagrafic and functional findings. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Clinical records from patients who underwent thyroidectomy in our Department since 1967 to 1997 were reviewed. Those with functional measurements of hyperthyroidism were considered. All were managed according to the same preestablished guidelines. RESULTS: HT was the surgical indication in 694 (27,1%) of the 2559 thyroidectomies. This article attempts to systematize basic syntactical ideas in order to have access to texts of classical Latin. The authoress adopts the criterion of functionality according to which she analyzes the four basic morphological grammatical categories. Noun, adjective, verb and adverb presenting the function that is proper to each one, but noting at the same time that these functions of syntax can be expressed by other morphological categories. It also presents, as a basic question, the terminology of different grammatical trends.

Dyslexia is a disorder in the written use of language due to visuospatial weakness in the perception of linguistic forms. This paper postulates that a possible functional characterization of the deficits of a linguistic nature in patient speakers who present dyslexia when a full acquisition of reading and writing is not yet assumed will favor both the diagnosis and the intervention proposal. To demonstrate this hypothesis, we study the case of two twin patient-speakers who share the diagnosis of dyslexia, with the aim of checking the genetic-hereditary nature of the pathology and proposing specific therapies based on linguistic functional analysis. We thus present the theoretical framework that allows the historical knowledge and definitions offered on this disorder, the difficulties involved in its etiology, and the different models of intervention that currently exist to alleviate it. ...

For some time he has worried us the problem of Tropical eosinophilia and Loeffler's Syndrome, for this reason we decided to address the issue in its clinical, hematological and some biochemical blood aspect. The first step was to acquire the optimal technique as regards hematology the objective was achieved thanks to the occupation we play in a clinical laboratory. Then the serial and systematic study of all patients who came to our hands in the period of one year was made. The base of the research study consisted of 9 patients with Tropical Eosinophilia in that span. We present the clinical interpretation, haematological and biochemical findings in blood, performed serially.

The purpose of the present paper is to improve the global convergence results established so far concerning the Augmented Lagrangian Algorithm with exponential penalty function for solving nonlinear programming problems with equality and inequality constraints. We prove global convergence for KKT points under the PAKKT-regular constraint qualifications, which results as a consequence that accumulation points generated by the algorithm are PAKKT points. This convergence result is new for the augmented Lagrangian Method based on the exponential penalty function. An interesting consequence is that the estimates of the Lagrange multipliers computed by the method remain bounded in the presence of the quasi-normality condition. Finally we give optimality and feasibility results for the convex case.

This investigation led proposes the articulation, in a conception as a whole, of a new theoretical model based on the stablishment of three functions of Public Relations that should be present in public and private organizations, that are, the relational function, the communicational function and the synergy function. This is an exploratory study, non-experimental, descriptive, comparative, and from an intracultural mode that took a sample of twenty executive officers of Public Relations and related, from public and private organizations in Peru. Esta investigación ha permitido construir una Red Neuronal Artificial RNA con Función de Base Radial, y que utiliza la distancia de Mahalanobis RND, para la mejora de la calidad de diseño de procesos, obteniendo mejores resultados que los obtenidos con los análisis estadísticos tradicionales para los diseños experimentales y las RNA ya existentes, para los casos que se trabaje con varias variables dependientes e independientes y en los que sus relaciones no sean lineales. Asimismo, al RND permite obtener parámetros de entrada para lograr un nivel de calidad deseado; para ello se aplica una metodología que usa las RNA Inversa y Directa a la vez.
