Traditional construction and property companies often find themselves bound by conventional project management and design techniques, which can lead to delays during the design phase. This situation needs to be avoided. This study presents a process optimization for the design stage of multifamily buildings using Virtual Design Construction (VDC) - a collaborative project management approach. WordNet-like resources are lexical databases with highly relevance information and data which could be exploited in more complex computational linguistics research and applications. The building process requires manual and automatic tasks, that could be more arduous if the language is a minority one with fewer digital resources. Se diseñó e implementó una herramienta BIM para gestionar encofrados. Para ello, se realizó una revisión de la literatura así como de encuestas para determinar las preferencias de la industria de la arquitectura, ingeniería y construcción referente a la gestión de encofrados en edificaciones. Se determinó el nivel de desarrollo requerido para los modelos BIM de encofrados, la preferencia respecto a la opción de alquiler y nivel de automatización actual de estos procesos. The research and development (R&D)-marketing interface is one of the most critical elements in the development of commercially successful products. When these two departments can effectively link their processes and information sharing, companies can improve their product development efforts. Champions contribute to the success of this relationship by facilitating the information flow in five critical success factors (CSFs): customer requirements, customer feedback, competition, product development, and goal setting. Management can help the efforts of champions by establishing a knowledge management system (KMS) based on the CSFs. Integrating principles and methodologies from customer relationship management (CRM), an organization can develop a framework to establish a KMS for the R&D-marketing interface.
