A brief review is made of the main indicators of the distribution of wealth, employment, wages and inequality in the United States of America (USA) in the last decade, and the economic policy measures that have affected them and the role played by corporations and the powers of the State; then the opinions and reflections of experts, academics and heads of institutions linked to the American economy are presented; which allows us to draw some conclusions about the level of satisfaction of the Americans themselves with the economic model in force for nearly three decades.

The following study broaches an approach that uses tools from different fields of study, and seeks points of multidisciplinary convergence. Its goal is to explain the types of connections that residents of Neighborhood -Unit N°3 (UV3) have with de cultural assets contained within their physical and psychological environment. Thus, to begin, there was a critical review of the literature on community sense in the UV3. Subsequently, the theoretical contributions about cultural heritage and Sense of Place (SoP) were reviewed. Later, the research instrument, which contains a questionnaire with 16 questions written specially to verify the sense of place in the Neighborhood Unit N°3, was produced, reviewed and approved by the expert Phd. This work shows the three occasions in which Peru, as a founding member of the United Nations, has constructively participated in the Security Council (1955 - 1956), (1973 - 1974) and (1984 - 1985) and always guided by the principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter to achieve international peace and security. The most relevant thematic axes in this period are those referred to human rights, civil and political rights, international security, decolonization, and people´s self[1]determination. Peru has a surface of 82’369,713 hectares of forestry suitability, 7’600,000 hectares with agriculture farming capacity and a biomass potential for energy generation estimated in 272 million annual metric tons [2]. For energy generation scope, there are four categories: bioenergy crops, agriculture waste, livestock waste and urban solid waste. The psychometric properties of a Subjective Well-being Scale were analyzed for adolescent students participating in the evaluations of PISA 2018. The sample included 67,503 adolescent students from Bulgaria, Georgia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Mexico, Panama, Serbia, Spain and the United Arab Emirates. Different models were evaluated for the Subjective Well-being Scale. Reliability was validated with the McDonald’s Omega coefficient, validity with the Confirmatory Factor Analysis and invariance with the Multigroup Factor Analysis. The Bifactorial model, with a general factor called Subjective Well-being and three specific factors called Satisfaction with Life, Positive Affects and Negative Affects, yielded the best fit indices. Thinking about the economic growth of a nation is thinking about a series of alternatives. This research article examines the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in Peru using cointegration models to present development alternatives. The main objective is to analyze the influence of energy consumption on long-term economic growth. To achieve this, a methodology is used that begins with the Unit Root tests and data is collected between 2005 and 2018. The results obtained reveal a significant positive relationship between energy consumption and economic growth in the long term, which indicates that an increase in energy consumption has a positive impact on economic growth. Transportation is the sector with the highest Greenhouse Gasses (GHG) emissions in Peru, and it is almost completely dependent on fossil energy resources. For the present analysis, we take into account carbon emissions during the production of electricity which may serve as a basis for understanding the carbon footprint (CF) of the alternatives that may be derived from the use of electrical vehicles. Based on the estimated values of emissions according to the type of electricity generation source (renewable or thermal), we have created scenarios to calculate emissions under the condition of electromobility. The CF of the combustion vehicle is 180 gCO2eq/pas-km, while the CF of electric vehicles with renewable energy, national electricity and fossil electricity are 12, 89 and 140 gCO2eq/pas-km respectively. En el diseño del sistema de protección de la subestación Valle Escondido 220/33kV, ubicada en la III Región de Atacama (Chile), Provincia de Copiapó y utilizada para la conexión al sistema del “Parque Fotovoltaico Valle Escondido”, están presentes dos tecnologías de relés de protección, la convencional y la digital. This work focuses on the calculation and validation of the parameters used for the generation of flows of maximum avenues along 16 points of interest in the main channel of the Biabo river. Due to insufficient information from meteorological and hydrometric measurements within the basin, the daily precipitation grid information from the PISCO database v2.1 of SENAMHI was used, the model of frequency duration curves from the ILLA-SENAMHI-UNI study, and the Snyder unit hydrograph, and the results obtained were calibrated based on the records of maximum flows from the Requena-Biabo hydrometric station. Thus, for example, for the Requena-Biabo station basin, the comparison between the flows of maximum floods generated with the flows recorded in for different return times, the error obtained fluctuates between ± 5%.

Decent work is work that is available to anyone who wishes to work in conditions of freedom, equity, security and human dignity. There are ten categories for measuring decent work, the application of which makes it possible to determine the situation of a population with respect to its working conditions. The purpose of this article is to analyze the terms in which the labor standards incorporated in the respective chapter of the Free Trade Agreement with the United States have been complied with, one year after its application. To this end, a comparison of the labor indicators obtained before and after the signing of the FTA with the United States is offered.

The characterization of the thermal insulation properties of construction materials represents a fundamental step on building insulation assessment. The present work aims to design and build a portable apparatus, namely, Portable LAMBDA UNI, capable of measuring the thermal conductivity of insulation materials. This portable apparatus is based on the standard ASTM C 518, which is a secondary method for measuring thermal conductivity. The apparatus also measures the effective thermal conductivity of square prism thermal insulation materials of 60 mm per side and a maximum thickness of 14 mm. The thermal conductivity of the drywall and adobe with Stipa ichu was measured with the Portable LAMBDA UNI, with the values being 0.265 W m-1 K-1and 0.357 W m-1 K-1, respectively. © 2021 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Un adecuado tratamiento a la problemática que las viviendas rurales altoandinas atraviesan durante los meses de invierno, pasa por un acertado enfoque bioclimático. Así lo demuestra la intervención de la Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería, por medio del Centro de Energías Renovables (CER-UNI) y la Facultad de Ciencias, en la Comunidad San Francisco de Raymina (SFR), Ayacucho. En esta Comunidad se ha construido una vivienda bioclimática, mediante la cual se ha alcanzado un bienestar térmico a sus ocupantes. Este trabajo ha pasado por claramente establecer y, acertadamente, aplicar los conceptos bioclimáticos, algunos de los cuales son presentados en el presente artículo, así también como parte de la experiencia de la UNI en la Comunidad SFR.
